Storm, Wests Tigers, Rabbitohs to swoop on Saab

@hobbo1 said in [Storm said:
The only way Saab would cone here is if once again we paid overs for an average player ...
And so the merry-go-round continues 🙄

Or that he would rather stay in Sydney than go to Mexico! If he has any sense, he’ll go the the Storm.

Apart from being with mates, why would this kid want to be part of our rabble? Seriously why?

You have to sing this in the shower.......

Because we are Australians and we love the Tigeeeers!
And because you’re crying about something that happens every yeeeeeear!

If Thommo disappears to the GC I don't see why we wouldn't have a red hot chance at getting Saab, unless the plan is to promote Bradley who has a similar height and build.

I will admit he has natural gifts and at 19 more chance then Jennings of suceeding but he is in reserve grade for the dragons and has played 3 games of NRL in which he made 4 errors and had a 58% effective tackle % so lets not think he will change our season either

He’s also scored three tries in three games and he’s actually tall and has some pace. Big upgrade to what we have on that wing now p

Because he may be able to fill the wing spot for the rest of his career,

Typical signing for the Tigers, paying big dollars for a player who can not get a start with the bottom team. He might have a heap of potential but what this team needs is some real deals. Players who have a highlight real in the NRL and not some schoolboy comp or GPS rugby comp.
I am all for taking a punt on some kids, but first you have to get some real quality for them to learn off. It seems this kids manger is creating the demand in the market place for a team to take the bait.
We need harden pros at present, because our present group clocks off every second week

Why do you assume it would be big dollars? We do not have that much salary cap to work with, he would get what Thompson is on which isn’t much.

The club hasn’t made a genuine marquee signing since Tuqiri, fingers crossed we can get one for next year

Happy would be an upgrade on Jennings.

Imagine if we signed Josh and Brett Morris when they where available a few were for it but mostly it was washed up over the hill no's

They are the type of signings we need...proven NRL standard players who know how to win to go with the exciting youth we have...They are performing and improving the Rorters which sucks..

Sure lets have a look at Saab but feel like you ...it seams manager driven to create demand...

My god Geo. You mean the year the Morris boys were leaving the Dogs, looking for a team that can accommodate both and we released Kevin Naquima to Super League and didn’t have a set left winger.
I really do wonder what the club was thinking that year....

Storm are trying to keep Vunivalu and offload JAC to the Rabbits. Rabbits would not be after Saab. They already have Mitchell, Gagai, Johnstone, Jet, Campbell Graham and likely to get Addo Carr. They will want forwards.

Smarter play for us if Rabbits want him is to try to sign Gagai on a subsidised contract or Campbell Graham from the Rabbits.

Graham is a decent player,Gagai is no better than who we should be getting rid of he is a very overpaid plodder

Let Gagai wear his Maroons Jersey when he plays, he turns into Superman in that thing.

I had same thought when they were looking for a new club.
Those two are just great players ..... always give 100%.
Shame we never considered that option. Would not have cost us big $s but deliver so many solutions for us.
