tig_prmz, did you forget Tim Moltzen or do you not feel there is a place for him in your 17?

i like moltzen and lui, moltzen is a bit further developed but i enjoy watching lui play much so as well.
its a real shame moltzen didn't work at FB because his support play was superb.

Id have

1\. McKinnon
2\. Tuiaki
3\. Daniella/Ryan
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuqiri
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Payten
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighington

14\. Fifita
15\. Moors
16\. Fulton
17\. Dwyer

Ryan and daniella to interchange if fit team depending on what is required per game, defensive centre if against ie. GI but if against a turnstyle like Beau Scott… Daniella

Lui to Cover

Payten to start as doesnt have as much impact of bench, but has the hands of god.

Looking at our best 17 is very encouraging for prospects of the future, I'm not keen on Bryce Gibbs because he makes mistakes time and time again often at the worst possible time and to be honest he doesn't have the impact to win the battle of the forwards in each game.

Any comments?

Can't agree with you on Bryce Gibbs. He may not look spectacular but he works his butt off during a game and makes a lot of tackles and hit ups. Take him out and a lot of the small things don't get done. If he played for Manly he'd have played State of Origin by now…

I agree. Gibbs has been one of our best forwards all season. Regularly knocks up 100+metres a game now as well.

He has the best defensive technique in the team, and I wish some of the 'big name' players took a leaf out of his book - tackle them around the bootlaces and watch them drop right there on the spot. None of this *get them up high then get dragged for 7 metres before finally pulling them to ground* crap.

1\. McKinnon
2\. Ryan (Tuiaki if the injury never occured)
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuqiri
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
8\. Gower
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Heighno
12\. Ellis
13\. Gibbs

14\. Fifita
15\. Moors
16\. Dwyer
17\. Fulton

Why? he is a utility. I'm just saying because in my team I put Tuiaki on the wing but its highly unlikely you know. So, Moltzen could go wing and Daniela the utility.

I'd go with…
1 Wade McKinnon
2 Lote Tuqiri
3 Tim Moltzen
4 Chris Lawrence
5 Taniela Tuiaki
6 Benji Marshall
7 Robert Lui
8 Bryce Gibbs
9 Robbie Farah (c)
10 Keith Galloway
11 Todd Payten
12 Gareth Ellis
13 Chris Heighington

14 Geoff Daniela
15 Junior Moors
16 Andrew Fifita
17 Simon Dwyer
18 Liam Fulton
19 Blake Ayshford
20 Beau Ryan
21 Mitch Brown

1\. Mckinnon
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Tuiaki
6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen
8\. Galloway
9\. Farah
10\. Payten
11\. Fulton
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighno

14\. Lui/Daniella/Flannagan
15\. Moors
16\. Dwyer
17\. Fifita

He's not a utility that will play on the wing. He will either be halfback or fullback next year, and i suspect at this stage he will get first crack at halfback.
