Sunday afternoon footy at Leichhardt Oval snubbed

No worries Yoss. FTR, i don't hesitate pulling someone up whose views are slanted towards a Magpies bias either

Moving to Concord full time is essentially severing ties with the South-West and that cannot happen

We could get a Special Bus for **them.**..

Poor form from a moderator….pushing the ''us'' and ''them'' theme..
Onya watty :crazy

Leichhardt, Campbelltown, Concord … No one seems to agree ... Compromise compromise compromise ... Scrap em all ...

So Lidcombe Oval it is.
So many obvious positives ... There's that cute and cuddly grandstand, a sublime bike track just made for your corporate supporters, the tallest goal posts in the southern hemisphere (well they were once), a huge dunny block, a great hole in the perimeter fence to enable local scallywags to burrow in for free, a bustling train station just a short Tony Ford punt kick away, the massive heritage listed timepiece dead centre of the Harry Seidler designed scoreboard, a myriad of Manly hating ghosts spooking the playing surface between quarter line and quarter line, if it's hot there's a pool next door, stacks of wooden bench seats that occasionally enable the fan to escape splinter free, and to keep the old Balmain fans happy it also begins with the letter 'L' and was where Garry Jack, Mick Neil, Scott Gale and Matt Carter all began there First Grade careers.

Makes so much sense ... You know it does.
Lidcombe Oval ... Spiritual home of Rugby League !

If we were to play all our games at Campbelltown we would isolate a majority of our fans. This cannot happen. Crowds are bigger at Allianz, LO and even ANZ then Campbelltown which indicates the vast majority of inner city fans won't travel to Campbelltown. Even the local fans in the South West don't seem to want to travel to CSS for some reason. Hopefully this changes in the future and CSS can start to fill up on occasion.

CSS has often been voted the least popular with players too.

Obviously we need to keep our presence in the South West though so we'll need to maintain a split between city and west forever really.

If we move from LO to Allianz full time it will have an impact on fan numbers, but nothing huge i think. Most inner city fans won't object to going to Allianz but would prefer going to LO…

That was by opposition players, which is a good thing.

That was back in the good old days before the rennovation when the groundskeeper used to get the concrete in the opposition rooms soaking wet so it was a cold dungeon

Where do you get your figures from Boy,
This argument about crowd figures has come up numerous times on this forum, and every time people like yourself get proven wrong. The crowd figures between LO and CSS are very similar.
If does make you feel good but doesn't it,

As I said,
where do you get your figure from,
and also the players poll about the least popular ground…!
I'd like to read that.

Complete rubbish, except for the statement about the inner city fans .

http://stats.rleague.com/rl/crowds/wests_tigers.html

Average crowds

Allianz/SFS
Home games 19618

Campbelltown
13065

Leichhardt
13762

So BB is correct to an extent, but generally way way off

We had to accept the JV, but there are still some that can't accept it, and our future was always going to take us to Campbelltown, some will find it hard to take. The Wests Tigers train waits for nobody.

That's your opinion. It has nothing to do with acceptance or non-acceptance of the JV.
