Yeah true, but Melbourne have been playing crap for 7 weeks and have not really looked like improving, enter Wests Tigers! Cronulla pretty much the same, look at what Souths just did to them.

We've may have come a long way but one thing hasn't changed and that is that we still know how to play a team that's going through the doldrums back into form.
Yeah I really hate that and the horrible thing is, I could actually see it coming. We’ll probably be Saints first win as well lol.

Was thinking something similar the other day, but nah, that should be 2 points in the bank, round 18 we should hopefully be close to full strength.
I’m sure you are not the only one on this forum thinking that,
I’m not looking forward to that game knowing my mates giving it to me if we do get beat.
I’m hoping the Dragons can get a win before they play us.

I know we’ve been on a roll the last week, but this really felt out of nowhere. Wonder if the Luai news has spooked the club, and they feel he could have taken two or three with him. I doubt it’s a coincidence they just happened to pull their finger out of their arse in the last week. I’m not stressing about the Fainu’s. They’d be almost $1.01 re-sign considering they love Benji, in particular Latu. And their brother is signed for 3 years. They aren’t going anywhere either. Isn’t it nice to have a group committed to the club after years of players walking out. Let’s hope it continues.

Thrilled that we have re signed the core of a top 4 side in the Mays, Bula & now Turuva. ♥️
Along with Api & Luai they are our best players and with stalwarts like Twally, Doueihi & Seyfarth at the club for the foreseeable future, you can build a real premiership threat of a team, with or without Luai, especially if the Fainus re sign & we can pick up a good back up hooker, an outside back or two and another back rower. Hopefully some of those positions can be filled by talented juniors stepping up and grabbing the bull with both hands.
I really believe with one or two more quality signings the Tigers would be the strongest they've been since their conception.

I was worried that Tito may have followed Laui to PNG, I totally forgot he was Api's cousin and that also played a part in him joining the Tigers.

Stability is something weve lacked up until a year or so ago...it goes a long way in helping build a cohesive squad
