James Maloney -Souths

How does Souths fit him in the salary cap and if the Sharks have to upgrade his contract to retain him that must upset that Club's recruitment plans.

Smart move by Souths if true - Maloney is one of those players that success follows. Suggestion is he not being paid his current worth - this will be interesting Its becoming a ruthless system with players and contracts atm

South recruitment on hold. Waiting for Mrs Burgess to have more kids.

In racing parlance, Mrs Burgess has thrown a Group 1 winner and a couple of mid weekers. Big risk sending her to a high priced stallion on that record. A few of the earlier foals were lucky to make it to the track.

Elliot is getting chased by knights, eels and someone else?

If we joined in wed have a good shot. Id like to get him not only coz hes a talented player but also to spite the eels. The eels have brown, moeroa and manu mau. Where would elliot fit?? We have a stsrting spot available.

Out of Newcastle, Wests and Parra, you'd think we'd have the best shot at the comp next year. I suppose money talks though and Newcastle have a tonne of it available apparently.

Thought there aas another team. I doubt hel go to the eels. If were in talks with him id thinkbwe would have a great shot. The fact we need a startingdynamic edge runner plus his great mate is here makes us more realistic.

I honestly think we're done for second rowers. I believe we'll see McQueen and Lawrence line up next year, either both playing 80 or with Marsters coming off the bench. What we need now is some depth, some good up and coming ISP players to fill in if either of our starters gets injured because I'll tell you right now, if Edwards or Lovett are our backups next year we won't be winning many games.

Haven't watched this guy closely (Elliott) but I'm concerned when players suddenly go to the next level during contract negotiations.

Milne I'm happy about.

I'd personally be surprised to see Lawrence in the starting lineup. There was word around (from SG a few weeks back) that we had offered Guerra a 3 year deal - He wouldn't be coming here to play off the bench. Not sure what he's going to do but it showed Cleary's intention..

Apparently Guerra is going to the Knights and I haven't heard us linked to any more back rowers. I don't mind either way, as long as Edwards and Lovett aren't in the NRL side.

You'd to think that Lawrence, McQueen, Aloiai will be there, and Marsters has also been earmarked for the future.

Amen to that. They shouldn't be anywhere near our FG side next season. I'm sick of mediocrity

47 tackles on the weekend isn't bad for mediocrity.

How about every time he took a hit up he made metres after contact.

Does anyone know when Taane Milne or Mahe Fonua signings are going to be announced by the club? Fox Sports reported yesterday that Milne has already signed a deal but the Tigers haven't made it official yet. Does anyone know?

If people know these things, they post them. Calm yourself.

You're like an impatient 10 year old on Xmas eve who can't wait for Xmas morning. Just wait, like the rest of us.

Remember there is a cooling off period. Be patient.
