There were a few times when Madge had Jake and RF on the field at the same time.An under-explored idea.
I think Jake is too slow for a halfback but a roll like Brandon Smith played might be a option.

I think his future in the NRL is as a lock coming off the bench. Would like to see this explored next season. There were a few times when Madge had Jake and RF on the field at the same time.

doubt you'll be able to see it next season. the club has told him he's free to leave at the end of the year and he won't be short of suitors.I think his future in the NRL is as a lock coming off the bench. Would like to see this explored next season.
His got some pace
From all reports this kid loves to chirp. Won't let oppositions walk over him type thing. Not sure he'll do that first up in grade but respect that attitude, we need more of that in our 17.
Best advice I got re: Support play... "just run towards the goalposts" ... You'll pick up the line breaksI'll add to that, jr, that his support play through the middle is organic and remarkable for someone of his age.
One of the major reasons he has such a happy knack of getting across the stripe in my opinion.
It's like watching another young Api
Yeah I saw him live a couple of times this year. Doesn’t shut up.From all reports this kid loves to chirp. Won't let oppositions walk over him type thing. Not sure he'll do that first up in grade but respect that attitude, we need more of that in our 17.
Pretty sure I remember you saying at the time that you were impressed when you watched him live?Yeah I saw him live a couple of times this year. Doesn’t shut up.
A bit of Mick Ennis type niggle in him….giving players shit when we score and stuff lol..
Yes. I went to see how the big forwards in Ball were going. They didn’t catch the eye as much as I hoped but young Tallyn…he was playing a different sport to everyone else on the field. He had a lot of respect from the opposition which gave him more room to hurt them. If he is managed properly, the sky is the limit but we have to be careful how we integrate him and how we treat him.Pretty sure I remember you saying at the time that you were impressed when you watched him live?
I'm a big fan of this kid.
We once had a hooker like that & he ended up becoming one of the best hookers in the game 🔥🔥🔥From all reports this kid loves to chirp. Won't let oppositions walk over him type thing. Not sure he'll do that first up in grade but respect that attitude, we need more of that in our 17.
I don't reckon he kicks on anywhere.I guess this means that Rua bloke doesnt kick on here?

He had that one blinder against Manly in the trials last year and everyone was calling him the next Cameron Smith, thought the brains trust at the Tigers were going to throw an 11 year deal at him. The PTSD is real.I don't reckon he kicks on anywhere.
I hope that he doesn’t end up a tool like Mick Pennis.Yeah I saw him live a couple of times this year. Doesn’t shut up.
