Yah TDS is as good as gone based off Benji's press conference.

Have a feeling the club think Mason is the 14 and will give Api a spell, he's no hooker though.
I feel like he’s going to contract the Moses Mbye syndrome of not being able to nail one particular position. His defence is suspect, but has value cos of he’s a dangerous ball runner. I just don’t know where he fits in.

The path is there for TDS if he wants but if he doesn't... His best mate has walked into FG side at the top of the table - the chat won't stop just because they are not at training together

I honestly don't see the reasoning in letting TDS walk. Richo needs to grow a pair. Haywood is promising but needs at least another season. Make TDS see out his contract, if Api is injured over the next 18 months who steps in? Haywood gets time to develop with TDS covering Api then Haywood becomes the back up when TDS contract finishes.

Agree, I reckon he could make a 14, comes off the bench to give Api a breather if he needs it and injects speed around the ruck area. And if a back goes down he can slot in. Yes his defense needs improving but he is a dangerous ball runner as you have stated.

I see WTs completely screwing this one up too
Firstly,in the current sensitive circumstances why wld u leave him on the bench for 80 minutes if u had any intention of retaining him...?
Its a complete slap in the face,,,unless...hes already gone, which is possible. But if so,why waste a bench spot for last nites game??Cld have been the dealbreaker..
So why do we give him permission to negotiate pre Nov 1...and possibly leave before June 30
We dont have a back up if Api goes down
Richo is losing me

yeah it looks like we have given up on the season and we are still getting rid of players
only problem is we are now getting rid of our juniors as well

He fits wherever you can best utilise his running game without detracting from the other abilities required to hold down a position. He can kick a ball well and has a decent pass I’m not sure why he kept running every time it went to him instead of using his outside and inside runners.

If TDS has permission to look around it's looking like another Galvin situation is unfolding an arrogant me first not team first.
To me Galvin could see the threat to his position that Latu has shown since his arrival and could have been a factor in his decision to jump ship now TDS is getting itchy feet because of the Api extension noise.

If this is the fact than what else can the club do, they need to make the decisions and not be pressured by some kid who has a way to go to take Api's spot.
I'm with the club on this you need to weed out the players that are not all in on the team first attitude, all of the top teams have that in their culture.

Why doesn't he have a team first attitude? Surely the club has to wear the majority of the reason to why he doesn't want to stay.

If this was Melbourne, Roosters, Brisbane and nearly every other club, he would want to stay.

Its clear as day, API's days are numbered, we can all see that, TDS can see that but he still feels he needs to leave?

Strange?

I don't think any of us understand his thinking surely for now he can see himself Api is the better option and he will take over down the track.

Think when the article with the ultimatum regarding him our Api came out the club didn't like it and why should they.
As for why the top clubs have no trouble with their juniors biding their time Benji needs to get on the phone.
