Tallyn Da Silva #270

So context isn't important to you... Noted..
Even in the hand picked context you’ve put forward, he’s still worse than Des ever was.

30% wins is not a better performance than 54%

I think Des would bring a lot of experience and competitiveness to our game. Things would start to click.

Hand picked context would be saying Benji won 2 of his first 7... Where as Des won 1 of his first 7.. Making Benji the better coach at the start of his career with a playing of who less quality...

So in theory Benji will be a much better coach in the long term than des.

I like this game.

Throw something else at me and let me spin it

Hand picked context?

I bought it back to be a fair comparison.

Des at the start of his career and what he had to work with.... Vs Benji at the start of his career in the same position..

But sure thing mate 🐅🐅🐅😅😅😅
I think you’re pushing your comparisons too far to suit.

But you won’t be moved, that’s ok.

Benji is still losing games hand over fist with players he wanted and recruited.

While marquee like May lie dormant and told they won’t play fg for weeks before we even knew their full fitness levels.

That was all spin I think, zero logic.

Back to TDS, I hope he stays and Api gracefully retreats.

Vote for TDS!

I guess there are too many unknowns but logically Tallan should back himself to take the starting 9 off Api come 2027.

That doesn't seem to be what is playing out here though. Tallan's management have said if Api re-signs Tallan will go, imlpying that Tallan a) doesn't think he can get the starting jersey off Api b) thinks he deserves it out of hand it 2027.

The loan deal doesn't make sense because Tallan's management indicated he will sign elsewhere if Api is resigned.
That's the kicker he can't sign anywhere until next year

Or c) there was a legitimate expectation that Koroisau was going to retire at the end of 2027.
Tigers’ succession planning can take a sharp turn at any time given prevailing circumstances so it shouldn’t surprise many.

Im not sure how it works, but could we sign him and then swope deal with Manly or Parra or who ever ,do what Melbourne did with Harry Grant while he sat in line behind Smith.. then Tallyn has stepped into regular first grade we use Api till his used by date and bring in back . something like that

Pot, kettle, black..

can someone tell me the difference between staying here and sharing with api
to
going to manly and sharing with simpkin or
going to the eels and sharing with Ryley smith
You are right in saying he is not going to be an 80min per game NRL number 9 at any club just yet.
I’m guessing his bigger concern is the fact Benji seems to think Api can continue to play 80mins each game.
