He will be a loss but he didn't want to be understudy to Koroisau. There are many clubs looking for talented youngsters and unfortunately WTs is in the spotlight.

Its not their job to approach the coach and get their mate selected ahead of the guy who is the incumbant and has prepared for 2 preseasons to play there.

If it is say Luai and api that approached benji wouldn’t they be part of the leadership group hence their opinions are received aswell as sought
Benji didn’t drop Galvin for Latu anyway so imo it doesn’t matter

I’m not sure how far we can move on with these key failings in roster management etc.

I could better accept the decisions to immediately “liberate” troublesome players if it had a tangible upside, but it seems nothing turns up to take the edge off.

I agree with @Tucker that Benji has shown some talent with recruitment at least, I’m just not sure if he has the hours to devote to it.

I honestly think we need a proper r&r team, not just fast talkers but people who are experts in manipulating others to our ends. It’s worth the time and money.

Other clubs do it, but for some reason we try to wing it. I don’t understand why.

The whispers growing louder about Star being a bit precious now. Good grief!!

If Richo wanted to keep TDS but Benji did not , shouldn’t the board make the decision, apparently they laid down not prepared to pay the bucks to defend the club against Galvins claims and we are going to look worse letting TDS go without a fight, especially when Gould gets him

I understand where the club is on TDS and they are in a hard position but Benji is right. If we have extended Api for another 3 years you don't want to hold a player back so lets try and get something for both player and club.

They might have hurried this process up some to see if they could get a play swap in return before deadline. I would rather keep him for this year to cover but trust Richo so make the right call.
