Tallyn Da Silva #270

He will and people will pretend they never rated him anyway.
I said it before the season start, I'm not convinced TDS is NRL standard. He's shown flashes of okayness when coming off the bench but mostly, he's a weak defender, gives away too many penalties and throws a lot of poor passes from DH. I know he's only young but he hasn't shown anything to be suggest he's the Messiah.

If he is rumoured to be getting 650k a year at parra then good luck to him, I don’t blame him for chasing that coin
He is not worth that much IMO..

I can only hope we have already extended Api and will start putting time into Haywood now.

Tomorrow will be interesting indeed .. I hope we at least get 1 external player as I will be pissed if we just promote 4 players that do not deserve to be upgraded just to make the deadline.

He's a raw young player. He's gotten a long term contract on big dollars that I wouldn't have offered. It's not clear yet that he is a first grade talent and he has mostly struggled when he starts.

However, we had him on a decent contract until the end of next year. I see no benefit to letting him go, even if he was to sign elsewhere at the end of this season. You need depth and variety in your squad and he has been excellent when partnered with Api. Really disappointing again. The club is getting schooled on and off the field.

I called this weeks ago and someone replied to me that won't happen because they have a very good young hooker

The Eels breaking the rules how funny and I called Bud staying at Souths Richo made a deal months ago

The only other good rumour I have heard is the Canterbury forward coming to the Tigers
Which one?

@stephen
Paws just half reminded me, there was a game early in and Lids did a length of the field chase down off an interception that was impressive. He was pretty quick, but injuries can slow you up.
Absolutely, mate. He's had his share of injury setbacks. Mostly during his time here. I reckon it really held him back. I've always been a fan & would love to have seen him at his best with us. Gotta look forward, though, and glad to see him going OK.

I'd take Brendan Hands from Parra.
Penrith Juniour.

Came through as a 6 but has been playing hooker the past season and a half @ Parra.

I like his style. He's behind Smith & TDS now.
He'd be a suitable player to play cup and fill in first grade when needed.

With all the signings Parra have made, surely they could let one go.
The rumour doing the rounds is that Kikau will be pushed out he is on big money and 2 or 3 of there young forwards all have been asking for up grades

Preston is reported on $375K and wants more

Kikau Apparently has been offered to the Tigers and will have to pay full $$$ for him
I’d be happy if u got that one right

It's not a player swap. I don't know why they released him early but you can't expect the players you would like to get in return will want to come
Pretty sure the Roosters released Dom Young and Brandon Smith without getting anything in return from either club.
True, the Roosters have let players go but it looks like they were surplus to their current requirements.

Look at the talent that the Roosters have coming through and are even talking about letting Sandon Smith go despite the fact that he is currently killing it.

After a pretty poor start where many had the Roosters written off for the year (me included), they are now coming home with a wet sail and are well entrenched in the top 8 while the Wests Tigers have shit the bed. 😡

It would seem to me that the difference between the Roosters and the Wests Tigers is that they are well managed and well coached.
