If Tame is actually the next considered in line it officially proves that it is not how good you are but who you know at Wests Tigers.

He is a remaining season and a full and hard off season from even being considered close to understanding how to play the prop position in defence let alone excel at it

Obviously another in Club Sheens but in saying that if he actually gives us something Ok time will tell.

Look if he gets a go in the top grade I hope he finds another gear and excels for us.

But the quotes from Gentle are plain insulting. The fact the guy has been to two Balmain-Ryde Eastwood games all season and only one of those involved Tame indicates his opinion is of debatable value. The fact that Tame was hooked after one short stint and deservedly spent the rest of the match riding the pine make Gentles comments laughable

I'll tell you 1 thing if he didn't get hooked Wests would have won….

Because he was so bad Gower had to play the full 80 as well.

It was funny watching the brains trust of Camp Concord all stuffed into the coaches box yesterday.

Probably planning the NRL comeback of Brad Drew with us next season

Dont even joke about it…

Ben Galea resigned with Hull......I thought for sure he was next....

When I first read this I thought it mustve been written before yesterdays game, but reading it again (not sure on how many he's played) Im not so sure and your point is even more valid

Doesn't he come off contract this year?
They probably want to see if he is going to make the transition to a 1st grade prop… so they can decide to offer him another contract or not.

Damn.
I was hoping from the article that he was playing well and adjusting quickly but from those who've been able to actually see him play it appears not.

He is off contract, the good thing for the Tigers (not so much for Tame) is that with not playing over the last 2 years, he will come cheap if they want to re-sign him. A full off-season being able to run would do him the world of good though.

I would rather take notice of the coaching staff than some of the armchair critics on this forum.

Imagine having an interchange bench of….

14). Fifita
15). Moors
16). Tupou
17). Dwyer

Size, strength, power, aggression. BEAT IT!!!

with all due respect for those on our bench tonight, i think it would have had 2 be the weakest bench all year and also in the whole comp.
to win the comp you need massive impact off the bench, not the opposite. we need 3 big forwards and a 2nd rower who can also play in the backs,. thats why i think tupou would be perfect.

Galea was a deadset champion!

do you need to hang s**t on a player of his caliber & commitment?

Relax….Ben Galea was one of my favorite players as well....still is....

No direspect to him more a swipe a certain recruitment choices over younger players..
