Let me just get this straight.

The Bulldogs are going to tank 2 games and also hope Melbourne don't lose one, to lose the MP on purpose AND in a scheme to exclude the Tigers from the finals series.

They really are a dirty club.
 
Hassler's game plan for the Raiders:
Don't give the ball to Barba or Morris under any circumstances
If a winger get's it by accident he has to step on the sideline
Penalties won't be your fault - it's slippery out there
We haven't told Inu or Perrett - if they happen to get the ball get someone offside quickly
If by some miracle you get through a set, kick to Canberra's fullback and take your time chasing
If you manage to get inside their 20 and are in the clear, throw a forward pass or give it to someone who couldn't give a shit
Try to look serious, and laugh later when you get to play Canberra in the playoffs instead of the Tigers
 
Doubting very much that its dawned on anyone that the McIntyre system is gone therefore the Dogs won't play the team coming 8th.

Exactly, if they make the finals it is likely first up they'll face Souths. If they LOSE that game they will face the winner of 8th and the Cowboys (probably) which on form would probably be the Cowboys. If the Dogs were to win the 1v4 finals game, then they wouldn't even face 8th place until the grand final (if they even made it).

No way they tanked….this loss was coming for a long time. Do you people really think any side is in fear of playing the Tigers? Really? The Dogs will be more concerned with Manly, Storm and Souths.
 
altho im sure they didn't tank, but they were so woeful!!

if they were a horse they would swab them for sure, particuarly after the plunge…
 
given the nature of the size of the loss, suddenly the raiders are going to make the 8.this plays handsomely into the hands of the top 4 .the tigers have been the form team at semi final time for the last two seasons and given the travesty of the loss last week they were looking just as menacing this season. just remember, the last betting scandal involved a bulldogs player.

Oh please.

Watch the games the Bulldogs played against the Broncos and the Wests Tigers again.

For large periods of the game they were there for the taking, their structure was all over the shop, their forwards looked tired early and they had large defensive lapses.

Difference is the Raiders went balls to the wall and showed determination, heart and skill for the entire 80 minutes and took the game out of their grasp early, never letting them back into it.

Hasler tapers frontrunners at this time of year after a long season leading into the finals.

WT were not good enough to get the job done last week even discounting the calls against them and the Raiders were last night

It's not so much fear of playing the tigers, the raiders are crap, the bronco's are struggling but have showed they can be a force in the comp. out of those three teams two will be in the 8, I do believe that even the top teams would prefer either the broncs or tigers missed a spot. Raiders at their best are about 65-70% of what the top 3 or 4 teams are Brisbane or wests at their best can and will beat the tip teams it's a matter if that best turns up.

I've no doubt that the dogs dropped that knowing the tigers have hardest last game to win and both raiders and Brisbane have almost certain wins meaning tigers will be 9th.

On saying 1 v 8 is no more there is the potential that this match up can occur although not in the first finals match it could be a semi or the gf so would you rather have tigers, raiders or bronco's as potential opponent. I know as a player/ supporter of another team I'd prefer raiders there over the other two.

Exactly what evidence are you using to back this claim up?

Raiders have beaten us, Warriors, Newcastle, St George, Storm, Sharks, Broncos, Roosters and the Bulldogs this year. Some of them have been floggings.

They are no world beaters…but they are better than us.
 
Seriously, what is to fear about us this yr? What have we shown to prove we'll be a threat to any top side in the finals, especially without Farah? Sure fans of sides like Manly, the Dogs and Storm would be pissing themselves reading all this and how much we actually rate ourselves
