Target Lote

The dude just isn't capable of catching a ball anymore. If any team knows how to exploit this weakness, surely its us given how detrimental he was for the last 2 seasons. Bombs, grubbers, the lot have to be rained on him the whole night.

Plays left wing so will be on Nofa's side with Lulia. Although Merritt's defence is no better. He will leave his wing open for Richards all night. Game plan should be to go around the Bunnies. Getting through the Burgess Brothers will be tough.

Why do I have a feeling he will have a blinder?

Pleaasee. Leave the paranoia at the door in this thread. How can he have a blinder when he can't even catch a ball?

The bloke turns slower than a Manly ferry. Brooks' short kicking game and Nofa charging through should reap rewards.

I'm sure you've been a Wests Tigers fan for long enough to see it happen plenty of times with our ex-players.

Not with someone as useless as Lote is in 2014.

You're just asking for a Lote hattrick… Please shush lol.

Targeting Lote is simply crazy GNR… You might not have a high opinion of him, but I'm certain opposition Coaches wont be tempting fate in targeting him. He is still big and powerful and on his day can do damage. The less he is involved the better our chances will be.

I learnt many years ago... Never Bag a Champion. Just when you think they are dead, they rise up and make you look silly!

Sometimes targeting one Player can backfire big time, We have to be very careful.

Sometimes being too careful will land us in more trouble. I say our players must back themselves and continue to put doubt in Souths minds.

if your going to target Lote, don't forget as well to get as many players as possible on Greg Inglis and try and trap him within the 10 metre area. This is what alot of teams did late last year, and it really stifles, rabbitoh's attack.

You keep sticking solid on those Qlders Watto

Always… Its no secret that Inglis; McQueen; Teo & Lowe are the reason they have played in the Finals the past couple of years... They only choked because of the Poms in there team.

Its also no secret we played in the Finals in 05;10;11 because we had Queenslanders leading us around the park

I think it will be alot more important that our kickers get a bit deeper to get that extra second or 2 to keep their kicks away from Inglis. Probably followed next by making sure the pack puts in the extra effort to run decoys for each other, one out telegraphed pigs will be murdered by the Great Wall of Burgii.

Good post. We should definitely attempt it to some degree. But I'm sure potter is smart enough not to base our whole game plan on just that

Going around will be the way to go once we are in their half. As mick said summer of 2012, we have to earn the right to play expansively

Our aerial game seems mediocre though. Not to good in the air (excepting nofo of course)

In reckon we should target Sutton run the big at him , he is not used to been in the forwards and he will choke , seen him twice this year sucking in the big ones

Sutton should be 5/8 imo, push walker out to centres. Keary could be an option, but sutton is not conditioned to be a forward just yet. It might work out long term though but not sure

good idea but
