Taylan "Tiny" May

Taylan: The links to the Rabbitohs come as the Samoan international said that his preference is to play at the Wests Tigers alongside older brother Terrell May, but is happy to take the field for any team that grants him an opportunity.

"Yeah 100 per cent - I will play next week," he told 9News.

"Not the way I am now and truly trying to be, that's just me being honest, I wouldn't lie ... there's no risk, no way.

"I'll just put it out there, I honestly wanna play with my brother.

"He spoke about that in the media and it will be a dream come true, not just for us but for my family. Playing with him would light a bigger fire inside me.

How many excuses will Benji need? How many more big stars will he need to justify his coaching credentials. Will you be upset when Young May can't help us. On the field. Can't speak for their social media account. Rap crap wannabes.

Actually that's a good question, if I work it.

So the squad we have this year, IMHO is performing WAY better then they look on paper.

Last year I honestly thought we had a 10-14th squad and we come dead set last. That's on Benji

This year, better backs and halves... but were helping Luai adjust to 7, etc. Our forward pack was gutted. I think we have a 10-12th squad and we were doing better then I expected.

It's the first time I have seen our team exceed their expectations since Ivan Cleary.

I look at the Tigers the same way I do my Football team - Arsenal.

They had to be rebuilt from scratch (albeit, the Tigers were in a much worse position).

This isn't a 1 or 2 year project if we want long term success (making the 8 in the NRL and NSW Cup) but will take time....

There are going to be some bumps in the road (like the storm) but as long as we continue on the right trajectory, we will end up where we planned to all along.

I don’t know if we’d even need a permanent spot for Taylan given how injury prone our backs have been. Just sign him for the depth and there should always be a spot on wing or center open at this rate. He’s miles ahead of Staines and naden so why not get him playing our 14 😂 No matter what it should light a fire under our backs and get them into some better form
