Taylor / Farah

I dont think his apology is so bad really, apart from resigning, its about the most he could do to put it to bed and make a fresh start. It would have been torture for him to apologise like that. So at the very least it shows he does want the team to succeed…....I guess?

LOL at fans throwing the toys out the cot because our State Of Origin Hooker and club stalwart has remained at the club.

I reckon the club will have lost many less memberships with the decision that Farah is staying.

The die hards in here seem 50/50, the casual fans i speak to are all against the way Farah was treated.

:bawling

I wouldnt be LOLing at anyone ed, I clearly remember you very recently getting all hysterical one weekend

I was always signing up for membership.

I don't understand why you all have it in for Farah. One drama in ten years due to a commentator breaking trust and you want to hang him. Taylor has a lot longer list of drama over his career but he is flavour of the month. I can understand Farah being a little melodramatic due to his personal circumstances around that time.

My list of his positives a few pages back holds up, the record is there. Considering that the haters are a minority their opinion almost means nothing. If it meant something club membership would have gone through the roof when Farah's Dear John moment arrived last August.

It's the way he carries himself when under the pump. He is immature.
Have you forgotten the loss at Campbelltown just after the tallisgate broke when he ran for a waiting car in the carpark to avoid the media and left the boys in the shed bewildered? Pathetic for a veteran captain.
He lost me that day.

He faced the media the night the story broke after we lost to the Dragons, and he was right next to Mick Potter.

Same way he faced the Taylor situation the day after the story broke i thought with dignity and professionalism.

SOme people just have it in for him.

Face the media = its all about Farah, he runs the club

Avoid the media = he is shirking it

Win/Win situation for them.

Farah's staying, have a bex and a lie down.

I think this is way more apt for the people still whinging and whining about Farah and withdrawing memberships.

Who's still whinging? I know I'm not. He's staying, no point in going on about it as the club have made their decision. I don't agree with it, but I support the club first and foremost. I just hope that he and Taylor work are professional enough to put their personal issues aside to bring about results.

I've said I was going to renew this year after a couple away, so if that was in reference to me I think you've got that all wrong.

What's done is done i agree CB. Lets all focus on the 2016 season positively.
If we're terrible once again next season, we can start bickering once more. :supporter:

I also agree we look at it positively for both coach and Robbie. Robbie on the big dough must pull his weight and be constructive and Jason has to prove a point on the field to save his rear end. Strictly speaking they need each other. I think Robbie wants to end his career well-liked and maybe even work at the club so he had better do well.

What concerns me is that NSW SOO coach Daley fawns over Farah to the extent that Farah may now have the impression that he doesn't necessarily need to produce the goods at NRL level in order to win SOO selection in 2016.

I think a much stronger pull is that the WT have to do good in the early games surely he has that message. How can he expect employment after his footie days if he goes slack. Actually I think Jason still needs him on the field directing and pushing the players a bit, I won't be surprised if it happens. Does Woods hold the correct position to be in the thick of it?

And proof in the pudding didn't he play for WT with a crook shoulder from SOO - so give him due credit.

And if in fantasy land if WT are going fantastic he could be requested to drop his SOO commitments for some brownie points for that job in HQ

He lost me that day.

He lost me when I read he was harassing a fellow player over their choice of players manager. Just not on!

The problem is the club has handed the power back to Farah , the same person who has run the club for how many years now

If people really knew what he gets up to behind the scenes ….......

Well go on, illuminate us.

Well for starters Farah is currently harassing a player who is looking at changing player managers

But Farah is a club legend so I guess that is his prerogative , hey

sorry mate but this type of comment and or even type of thinking is just….....

WOW !!!

do you really believe this ????

after everything that has happened in the last few months regarding Taylor and Farah - to think either of them wont be doing everything physically and mentally possible to show their worth and commitment really shows some people are drama queens to the fullest.
That or your HATE is so strong it has left your head hollow.

both of them have everything to lose ! !
And both of them will come out of this as solid individuals if they show that they are giving their all to the tigers.

from what i have heard, what i have read since the team has been back in camp - both are working hard on proving their worth. giving it their all. regardless of the dramas.
thats what its about.
sad it took the drama to get to this position but they seem to have arrived at the same point so lets look forward !

The reliable source was me Chris and is still going on

Its funny - I was an avid contributor on the previous Taylor/Farah thread and had tipped 350 pages - sadly this was knocked on the head by mods - but we now have another 15 pages here which I think should be included in the tally taking it to 347.
That is just an adjunct to my post about the TV series Arliss - this is something Arliss would have thrived on - I honestly believe that Sam Ayoub has modelled himself on Arliss.
