Taylor's tactics and selections still baffle me

Guys like milone have to be given a crack… Dunno if they'll kick on or not... He didn't play many games fr memory

No they don't have to be given a crack.

he was complete rubbish and everyone knew that from watching him in reserves.

It was lunacy to have in the Top 25.

In some instances it could be as simple as players training hard and attempting to follow the coaches' instructions when playing. It seems Taylor perserveres with players to a point, then decides to drop them if they continually dont achieve whatever kpis the coaching staff set them… That at least seemed to be the case with Cherrington, Farah, Milone and Sironen...

Was Lovett dropped for the last game, or injured?

Not Milone. JT freakin loved him and he was the worst of the lot

Agreed he was the worst, never really understood why he was there. Tiger Torch claimed that it was due to a sponsors request to play him… Given how average he was, that may be plausible. But if the club is agreeing to these sort of arrangements, then perhaps they need some new sponsors...

The Milone thing is bizarre - I can't remember seeing someone so far out of their depth in first grade.
I guess we really don't have much of a choice, but our over-reliance on home grown players is frustrating. It's great to see locals coming through, but the NRL doesn't reward in-house development whatsoever, so we're swimming against the tide to a degree.
