My mates and I were talking footy the other day and the three of them are Pamfers fans simply because they were born here, which got me thinking if you followed the team where you were born or lived the largest part of your life, who would it be?

Born in Wagga so I guess that would be the Raiders, even though they did not exist back in'67\. Grew up in La Pa so that would mean Souths.

Born in Woonona, Illawarra so a Steeler except they weren't around way back then. My old man was born in Balmain. The rest, they say, is history.

North Ryde - Balmain fan. My dad changed alliances when he moved from Willoughby to North Ryde. He believed you should support the team where you live. Although he was pretty sad when Norths folded

Born at Wentworthville, so that makes me an Eels fan by birth.

Grew up in Northmead (over 50% of my life), then I moved to Ashfield (is that Wests or Tigers territory?) for a few years. Since then I have lived in both Dragons and Bulldogs territory for a while, but am now at Wahroonga. Not sure what that makes me, the non-existent Bears or much hated Sea Eagles?

While I started my footy life as an Eels fan, I evolved into a Balmain fan as a 13 year old, and from there became a devout Wests fan. Thank goodness there is free will!
