Townsend and Johnson picked him off. They kicked in behind him knowing he is very slow to turn.

I got a birds eye view of it and he was shown up.


Could say same about momirovski- kicked away from him making him chase across field. Has played well last few weeks but should never have been made fullback

Yep he was in the triangle they picked off. Thing is though he was out of his usual position, the other two are suppossed to be good at their positions.

Ill keep Momo and id look to shop Marsters and Jennings. They went to water.

Garner’s timing and the lines he ran were just to Brooksy’s liking, also Garner’s hands are good enough to secure those tricky quick-fire short passes. Garner is a lock-in for left-edge forward next season and there is very reason to feel confident that his combination with Brooks can get even better. Opposition defences will be aware of the danger of this combo which in theory should open good opportunities for the left centre and winger - it’ll be interesting to see who Madge settles on in those positions and works with during the preseason.

That was my issue this year. Early in the year it always went out the back and occasionally hit the short runner (Garner). The back end of the year it seemed to always go short which becomes predictable, but i think was a result of lack of speed of our outside men. Brooks will need to find the middle ground next year with hopefully some better players outside him.

We had a few play Canterbury Cup this year at 19 years of age who aren't on development contracts so I assume they are stuck in CC or JF for 2020?

Yeah only development players can play nrl. Unless the youngster is upgraded or you get an exemption like the panthers did with their young playmaker.

I think it's unlikely but it looks better than what we have now. We need to get some players.

Whatever we do we need to abandon the concept of Big 22!
Seriously I get the Big 17, we needed to step away from the Big 4 being key to the team. Haslier has done great at Manly particularly how his team was still an attacking force after Tommy Turbo got taken out. ...

But Manly had been rolling with the least depth of any team in the comp. Put simply Juniors could step up. You had champions.

We instead have a lot of average. Our best players are Matterson, Twal and Benji if his game is on... not many more. We hired a lot of average this year.

I hope we go for broke. While we did better then Newcastle, Newcastle could threaten because they had great players. Canberra is in the finals because they left the fullback position open and a great junior really stepped up. US? we hired Mbye.
