That was my issue this year. Early in the year it always went out the back and occasionally hit the short runner (Garner). The back end of the year it seemed to always go short which becomes predictable, but i think was a result of lack of speed of our outside men. Brooks will need to find the middle ground next year with hopefully some better players outside him.

@TYGA Dissagree with this, certainly there a few we need to clear, and I do not think we want to pay for these players to play for other clubs ie Bulldogs are paying part of Mbye contract, however we have a number of young players coming through. We do not need to do wholesale changes, our team finished 9th , 1 point outside the 8, we just need to improve on this year's performance, which should be expected

unless there is quality recruitment or a plethora of juniors coming through (like back in 04 when wests and balmain had a great crop coming through , similar to a few years ago when teddy; moses et al were coming through) then 2020 will be another 9th or 10th finish. Simple as that.

I have read the Dragons would be keen to get Bird from the Bronks so maybe Lomax is part of the puzzle.

I get the feeling once the first trade is made there is going to be a whole lot of players on the move. Fingers crossed we are part of the action
