Team next week

Our players won't get picked for origin. So i hope our boys step up a notch & show selectors how badly they stuffed up.
I would go with this side.

1.McKinnon (was a breath of fresh air on frinight)
2.Tuqiri
3.Lawernce (took it to another level on friday. If he keeps that up he just might get a test jumper)
4.Daniela
5.Ryan
6.Marshall
7.Lui (Finch aint coming & someone on hear said that lui looked fine at the BRET game)
8.Gibbs
9.Farah (should be blues hooker but lucky he will stay with us.2011 NSW hooker)
10.Galloway (If stayed injury free he would have been in origin)
11.Ellis
12.Fulton (due back this round)
13.Heighnington (He will get a test jumper at seasons end.One player that can feel hard done by not getting a rep jersey)

14.Ayshford (utility)
15.Moors
16.Dwyer
17.Payton (Has been great for us the last couple of weeks but i would like to see him & Moors as the prop rotation)

Fitzhenry will always be our number 17\. Even though no one else picks him. Sheens and his garden gnome are the only ones who know why? I like your team but need to find a spot for Fifita and his damaging runs. Maybe at the expense of Ayshford who still hasn't convinced me he should be considered in our top 17 when everyone is fit.

Love your team, but what makes you think Lawry and Heighno will get test jumpers? We are always over looked for Origin and the Kangaroos. Also Lawrence has too many centres in front of him atm Heighno may get a chance but more than likley his test jumper will be an English one.

1\. McKinnon
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Daniella
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan
6\. Marshall
7\. Ayshford
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Payten
11\. Ellis
12\. Flanagan
13\. Heighno

14\. Fafita
15\. Dwyer
16\. Moors
17\. Galloway

Keep it simple for when Lui comes back… forget mucking things around, bringing new players in and all the rest of that crap. Ayshford didn't go too bad at half, did his job and distributed it well i thought, if anything he needs to have more of a go at first receiver and leave benji wider more often.

Now that no Tigers will be missing for Origin:

1\. McKinnon
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan
6\. Marshall
7\. Lui (or Nicholls)
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Payten
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighington

14\. Fifita
15\. Moors
16\. Dwyer
17\. FItzy

It's a confidence thing Kaiser. Benji feels compelled to be closer and control more when he doesn't have confidence in his 7\. You only have to look at Benji when Moltz is at 7\. He stands very wide and deep…

McKinnon
Lote
Lawrence
Ayshford
Ryan
Marhsall
Lui (If Lui injured then Walters or Nicholls- whichever is a better defender)
Hieghno
Ellis
Payten
Galloway
Farah
Gibbs

Fulton - With Payten moving into Front row rotation at the 15 min mark
Dwyer
Moors
Fitzhenry

Yeah that's it, Benji and Moltz are good mates like Benji and Prince were. My team for the Broncos:

McKinnon
Lote
Lawrence
Ayshford
Ryan
Benji
Lui/Nicholls if Lui is injured
Gibbs
Farah
Galloway
Ellis
Payten
Heighno

Fitzy
Fulton
Moors
Dwyer

Most intelligent comment on this forum in a long time!!! This is probably the reason behind Lazarus and his ill fated time in FG, rather than everyone else's view that is simply Sheens trying to 'ruin another career'.

If Lui is fit, have him there, mainly because its obvious he and Benji gel, but otherwise I wouldn't mind Nichols there. He steers the side around very well, and isn't afraid to take control of the game, and over-call his more powerful halves partner.

With no Origin players, my guess is the side will remain the same, but Daniela probably won't be there since he is in the NSW Residents team.

If the Tigers want him to play, then he will just not play for Residents. The reserve grade rep game won't take preference over a first grade game.

I don't think the Tigers will yank him from playing in the residents game after publicly congratulating him on making the team on the official site.

The Club wont over-look Rep Duties. Not when we have the likes of Brown & Fitzy. Ayshford should be moved back to Centre this week anyway, and I'm starting to warm to the idea of Nicholls.

Nothing Fancy, just do the simple things, a few long kicks, go to the line once or twice each half to off-load and tackle. Other than that, just give good clean ball out in front of their chests for Marshall and Lawrence to do their thing…

Oh, not many teams are going around Brisbane this year, so this is the game for Heighington & Ellis to hit the edge of the ruck...

As it is a dead rubber for SOO, do the Bronco's have their players playing this week or are they omitted like every other SOO game ?

Nicholls has a very accurate long range kicking game too. This would also go a long way rather than using the kid as just a link player.

Bring that on! A long range kicking game is our biggest need at the moment IMO. So tired of seeing kicks ricochet off players, go out on the full etc.
