Moltz 2012 Minichello ?

He's better than the Sharks fullback to

Sharks fullback is Nathan Gardner and Gordon next year so no he isn't

Err he's talking about Matthew Wright

Yes i was talking about Wright but I would say Moltz at his best is better than Gardner to and close to Gordon, the thing is Moltzen at his best is not something that happens to much

1\. Ryan
2\. Utai
3\. Ayshford
4\. Simona
5\. Koroibete
6\. Fulton
7\. Marshall
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Blair
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighington

14\. Moltzen (needs to grow a set)
15\. Moors
16\. Bell
17\. Murdoch-Masila

The only thing I would be concerned about is playing Koro and Simona next to each other, purely due to experience. So I'd be happy with Moltzen to fullback and Simona to bench.

Moltzen has talent and speed which we need but he's just such a pussy that it annoys me. He's a confidence player so I'm not 100% on benching him, and I know he's just come back from an injury, but in saying that he's a professional rugby league player so harden up and do your job.

But that'd be my side.

x2

I cant get over how much of a cat moltzen is. The only time he isn't a cat is when he's in open space and no one can touch him.

Yeah , looked petrified when he pulled a runaway Moi Moi down one on one. :unamused:
Put you in the same positiion steve-o and I'm pretty sure you would have needed a change of undies.

Moi Moi was slowing down to let support catch up to him. Any fullback would have done the same. Some of you people just do not see Moltzen as he really is. Lacks confidence and talent to play first grade. Fell off a tackle to allow a try, just stood there when the chip came his way. Only for Koro, another try under the posts. I have said it before and I will say it again and again. He is NOT a first grade footballer. Please Moltzen fans, tell us a worse fullback playing in the competition this year.

HOORAY! Someone who actually watches the game and watches just how many errors he makes. I'm sick of people singing the praises of this guy. This is first grade football, not park footy. His game is terrible. Maybe someone at the club sees the potential but it's hidden behind his constant errors, in defence, in positioning, in reading the play, in the high ball. Everything. We are a laughing stock in NRL for signing someone I wouldn't put in a Jim Beam cup side.

I still can't figure how he didn't get a hand on Mullaney. Not even a touch, remarkable.

He'd just tackled Moi Moi, sprinted back to try and get in position - which to be honest there were about 4 Tigers who atcually made it onside - all Mullaney had to do was run the line to outside and he was always going to beat him. As for the other Mullaney try, that was just a bad attempt - BUT he wasn't the lone ranger on Monday night. Plenty of bad attempts by a variety of players. I guess a few players cop a bad rap but this is ridiculous. He is obviously a talented player and since his knee issues he hasn't looked the same. If he was as some have stated the worst player ever - then we was he signed up for 3 more years by the Tigers?
Why were two clubs invovled in a tug of war for his services before that?
You do all realise he has the most linebreaks for the Tigers this season and is equal for most tries with Beau Ryan?
Worse fullbacks - Zillman, Coote, Hayne. There you go three of them.

Unfortunately with Moltzen in the team we often play with 12 players, he rarely provides any support in attack and is quite often a suspect under high ball. IMHO, he definitely is not fullback. I agree with some comments here, I cannot think of FB who is less important to the team than Moltzen, all FB's mentioned above are better, especially under high ball and support play.
Cannot wait for Tedesco

Go Tigers

You don't know what you are talk about do you? :crazy

You can't talk - you usually dish up dribble on a consistent basis…

I'd agree with Moltzen being better than Zillman.

When Hayne is motivated, definately not.

Coote... i'd say about the same - Coote suffers from the same deficiencies that Moltz does - sometimes goes missing, and sometimes lacks effort.

Interestingly enough Coote used to be better - as did Moltzen.

Zillman has more of a go and takes the line on and runs the ball harder than moltz ever did or ever will.. however, i think moltzen is faster than zillman.

Coote is better than moltz under the high ball, again runs it back harder than moltz, has better play making skills than moltzen and for what it's worth has a better kicking game than moltzen… however i think moltzen is faster than coote.

Hayne.. ummmmmmmm... i think i'll give you that one.. moltzen will win the golden boot this year. /sarcasm.

Well when does Hayne run the ball back hard, put his body on the line or try to catch bombs when he ISN'T playing wing for NSW. Hayne suffers from the same thing Moltzen does and that has been pointed out on this forum. Hayne has bad positional play etc but anyway my point is that Moltz isn't the only FB with issues. Does he make errors? Yep. Is he the best FB the Tigers have - probably not but the coach puts him there, so he plays there and he is the option they are going to stick with the rest of the season.

I'm astounded that Coote has better ball playing abilites than Moltzen…I haven't seen them - not having go I just haven't seen them, ever.

is that your main point?
he has issues MOST other fullbaks dont.. hell most other players dont.
and that's what he is getting bagged for and rightly so.
also, it's pointless comparing hayne to moltzen.

his kicking game is far superior than i have ever seen moltzen's. moltzen is too much dummy and hardly ever passes, which to a point becomes very predictable.
