Teddy and Siro

Both are must keeps. I think everyone forgets still how young Curtis is. He is going to get better and better. Bob Fulton is a good judge.

As for Teddy as others have said he will play for NSW. He is the best young fullback in the game and a long term contract to him should be priority number 1 for our club management.

Don't really care for Siro the way some others do. He's alright, but nothing about him screams ''star'' to me. Tedesco on the other hand, whatever it takes he must be locked up. He's going to be one of the only shining lights this yr.

I don't agree with your assessment of siro the kid is not 21 yet he will play 2nd row has a great pair of hands. please don't let him go its all a head of him remember fifita.teddy is also great so also keep him he can be a great wests player

I'm confident we'll keep both players.

The money is around the same and with the team around them scheduled to peak in a few years as an added sweetener >> Both not going anywhere.

I doubt teddy would leave the tigers, same with the sirro boys, but you never know these days sometimes money talks

Sirro and Teddy are two of the best local juniors we have ever had and they will both have very long and successful NRL careers but i am in no way confident it will be with the Wests Tigers.

Peter Tunks said on 2SM yesterday he can't understand why the club has not locked Tedesco in long term…........... it's a no brainer.

Grant Mayer talks a lot of crap as far as I am concerned...lets see what spin he puts out over the next few weeks.

There is no way they have enough to sign anyone else? That is without Mbye off contract this year and will be looking for big money.

I think we have an auditor in our midst.

This is a hall of fame post, even for you Milky. The way you've been able to nail each players salary must have taken a lot of research on your part.

Seriously, Lichaa on 300K? the kid hasn't even played fg yet. Finucane and Jackson on 500?

No freakin idea

Some of them are over what they would be on but some are massively under what they would be on.

With the amount of 3rd party deals the Bulldogs would have we will never know how much they play players. In the NFL, NBA and EPL it gets reported what a player makes in a season or a week from the club. I think the NRL have to do the same and release what every player makes (including registered 3rd party deals)if we want a fair salary cap.

This doesn;t really mean much but here's a quote from Teddy in todays paper:

However Tedesco believes the club is on the rise and will only benefit from having blooded young talent earlier than anticipated.

"Since I've been here we've had some pretty poor years," Tedesco said.

"Some of the older blokes have told me that this is the hardest period that they've been through at the club. They are saying it's all up from here and can only get better. That's encouraging for us younger guys. We all know that we're young and still have a way to go, but the more we play together and the more first grade games we play will be beneficial for us and the club.

"Guys like Mitchell Moses, Luke Brooks, Manaia Cherrington, Kurtis Rowe - we have a lot of young guys coming through. It's good that we're all close mates. It's good to see us all coming through at the same time and if we get to play with each other one day it will be awesome."

At least it sounds promising that he likes the club and his mates, but the contract needs to be signed ASAP.

The Dogs are chasing Fishiaahi or Peta Hiku from Manly. I know a Staff member there. He also thought Tolman would go to Souths.

Yes I heard Hiku was the target.

Also regarding Tedesco, he busted his knee 2012 and had a decent if scratchy 2013\. He's had a good nines tournament and a standout Rd 1\. There is no point rushing out to extend his contract right at this moment; the player himself might not want to commit to anything just now anyway, to see if his ongoing form can push up his price.

It's very easy to link players to other clubs, people on here do it all the time. Don't get spooked because some dude on the radio makes a link between his former club and an up-and-coming footballer, it happens all the time.

I'll put it to you this way - if another employer came to you with a job offer, and you liked your current employer just fine, would you jump ship without further discussion with your current employer? Tigers will always have the opportunity to negotiate with these lads.
