although on that note, props to Tom Humble. He put in a pretty solid performnce today and I'm sure he'll fill the void more than adequately

This is such a blow for James and the Tigers, When oh when are the injury gods gonna smile on us, I feel so much for the young bloke, Speedy recovery James.

My thoughts go out to James, he looked superb in his 29 minutes.

Good luck with the scan and the rehab, ACL's are a well known quantity. We'll see him in 2013!

Couldn't believe it, he was looking so dangerous and quite obviously a big part of the attcking game plan, running off Benji at great angles…... we went off the rails when he went off, threw our attack into disarray.

Time for plan B Tim......

All the best to the youngster, hope is rehab goes well and is back on the park ASAP

Yeah agree. As soon as he stepped off his left foot you could see the pain register on his face. Such a shame as he really did look sharp. Every cloud has a silver lining though and in James case, he's young, he will recover fully and he'll be running by the end of the season and will get a full off-season to get bigger and stronger for next year.

That was really sad to see. A young bloke with a real opportunity and that happens.

I wish the young man a strong recovery and hopefully he is on the field soon.

Looked great in the brief time before his injury. The injury looked very similar to Moltzen in NQ a few years back totally freakish without being tackled.

Hope for the best and he will be back in 2013

Sad to see him go this way but lives goes on I hope speed recovery for him

yep, as soon as he propped off that leg and went down like he'd been shot you just knew it wasn't good. Agree he looks made for that fullback role and I'm sure he'll recover well and make it his own one day.

A very disappointing set of circumstances for the young bloke who was playing well up to then. As others have said, as soon as he attempted to step he fell in pain to the ground, well done to the Cronulla defenders who saw what happened and left him alone rather than take the opportunity to come in over the top. Hope he has a speedy recovery he has proven in the past that he has plenty of mental toughness, all the best to him.

He looked really good the time that he was on the field. As soon as I seen it I was reminded of Moltzen. Hopefully he has a speedy recovery and comes back strong.

It just shows what finely tuned athletes they are these days that they can do ACL's by just planting their leg

How cruel are the football gods. I'm absolutely devastated for the young fella.
From his first touch of the ball we could see he is something special.
Hope the scan are positive, and for a speedy recovery James.
