Tele at it again

Read today in the Tele under Shoosh that an NRL club (coach)is considering stripping the captaincy from a long serving player before the start of next season. Is this just more rubbish from the telegraph or is this related to our club and the final piece of the puzzle for this new look club?

Why read the dribble that the Telecrap pits out….it's what they want you to do with garbage like this....Simple don't buy it don't click on their trashy website.....Don't give them what they want...Time is too valuable...

Agree GEO,instead of saying..a coach is considering stripping the captaincy…why not state who the coach is and who the captain is.

Sounds like the old BS again .....

Surely to print that, then he must know who it is.....

It's a leap to connect this story to Wests Tigers.
I think Jason Taylor knows enough to keep his cards close to his chest and, even if he was planning to change the captaincy, we would hear it from him, not as a rumour in the media. On another note, why would any such change be announced now in the off season before he's even had a chance to watch the players train together?

Lots of long term captain's in the NRL

Cam Smith
Gallen
Farah
Gidley
Thurston

No way the only reason why they would do that is if they want Robbie gone.
If any truth in the story it would be Paul Gallen I think.

Ben Creagh - a big change going through the Dragons
Corey Parker/Justin Hodges - Bennett won't have two captains
Terry Campese - hardly considered a certainty to get a spot etc.
Paul Gallen - Recent Controversy
Robbie Farah - New coach new ideas

These would be the clubs considering a change

If it is in the Tele then it is bullshit, but if it was on Twitter it would be solid gold.

Forget the rumours, a change of captain at the Weststigers would not be such a bad thing.

Doesnt Phil Rothfield write that section? If so, we will never hear the end of it if the player in question is Paul Gallen. Slothfield always defends Cronulla and paints them as the "poor child, hard done by" club of the NRL. He will defend players even if they break the game's code of conduct, take illegal performance enhancing drugs or pee in their mouth.

It would be a very bad thing and it won't happen. Farah will be captain.

One of the first things the new board would have told Moss and Taylor is to better manage how information is handed over to the press…I expect the days of uncontrolled media leaks from the WT are over...

The Telecrap are full of BS everyone knows this including their editors...but for some reason BS sells papers!..which is why they keep feeding us .....

Why is it those on this forum who have the greatest love for Farah also have the greatest hatred towards Mayer and his cleanout.Hmmmm.

Jerry,I think people do like Farah because he is our best player and captain, even with his faults this year..
Mayer is hated by many for many reasons, however if they look at the big picture Mayer is concentrating on marketing and financials at the club all under the supervision of the new board,he is doing fine….

what people have to learn is things take time and patience...

most of all, what is happening at our club at the moment has been along time coming and we will see the benefits next year and the year after....
