OFFICIAL Terrell May #296

I think he's guilty by association from his brother and his appearance in alot of people's minds unfortunately.
He had never done drugs, doesn't drink, does alot of unpublished work in his community and is a bloody hard worker with a tough mindset.

I think he's in for a hell of a season next year with plenty to prove and high ambitions.

In the podcast he says he didn't buy into the Eastern Suburbs thing and continued to associate as a Westie. Good on him, maybe the not what the Chooks are looking for. Too independent.
He did say that, but he also said he wasn't given any reason.

Probably a mixture of both. He also seems to say too much at times and has to double back and clarify. It's all innocent stuff, but people latch onto snippets and make a big deal.

Brandon Smith also on the nose. Could be they aren't fans of the outspoken ones.

Can't think of any other Roosters that don't simply regurgitate the company line.

Well, he isn't fake and I don't think he's clamouring for the spotlight. He doesn't do drugs, he's married, he values his family. He simply doesn't sound like an Easts player.

I really liked how he said that Mt Druitt is just a suburb to him. He seems like a grounded, kind person.

Brothers...

Terrell appears to be the most-sensible of them -

Pretty sure I read Tyrone is off the alcohol now as well since 2023, at the same time as Mitchell Pearce over in France. That stuff can turn you into a monster.

I'm always happy to give people a second chance if it's genuine.

In that video, he goes off camera and comes back sniffing. Whose word are we taking anyway?

Are you asking if because he's doing push ups with Brandon Smith, do I now believe he takes drugs, drinks, doesn't help in his community and doesn't work hard? Seriously.

You're the one stating here he doesn't take drugs - Not me....
The video was a little more than suggestive?
So much so - That the players in it were Drug Tested,
One no longer plays for the club and another not likely to...

Unless of course you think he was doing push ups in the video?

You don't reckon he'd come out in interviews and say
- Yeah man, Me and the boys are always on it?

Problem is, Most young folk don't class that stuff as a Drug,
It's not drugs man, It's just '.......'

. . . . . . . and does Brandon Smith owe him money that he borrowed for gambling?

Now I get your question - didn't link it up to that video.

He's stating he doesn't take drugs. Big difference. Would hate to have you or GNR4LIFE as a judge.

Anyway, time will tell and no doubt if he stays clean and kills it for the Tigers you'll be both patting him on the head. I'll take my medicine (so to speak) if he derails the club but I can't see it happening.

I'm glad he's here and care very little what he does in his own time,
I was interested to see him go round for the magpies way back when - Didn't happen...
he's a great player - What's not to like?

Talking a big game is just that though isn't it....
Do I believe him?
Anyone who's been about a bit wouldn't comment on that after watching that video.
I like him, I think all those boys are good players....
If we get half of what he did last year,
He'll be much better than some of the other fellas we played with.

I agree that talking a big game is easy and hopefully he brings the mindset he currently has to his first training session and throughout the season.

That didn't take long. Why wouldn't he talk a big game it's the reason we were all ecstatic to get him - not because of what he might do. He is one player and can't do it alone, but from what he has already shown in his position he has the aggression and go forward that we need.
