If thats the case we are at very long odds now of snaring him and hope we were not the ones delaying the process and thats why others have joined in... He is clearly a wanted player so hope we at least table an offer.
I don’t see either of those teams as being any better options than us. I certainly wouldn’t be putting up the white flag because they are involved.
When is the last time we signed a player who was wanted by another club?
Not sure if re-signings count, but Nofa and Musgrove were wanted by Eels and Dragons respectively.

Is it though ? He was winger of the year . The guy is one of those contract year players . It sux . Because you have to pay him his value , and Murphy’s law says the moment he signs with someone else , because you think he’s a contract year player , he maintains that form .
he was never the best winger...ever. May have won an award, but in reality the way that is scored puts him at an advantage. 3/2/1 advantages players in poor teams. Rat ether 1-17 each game and then you have something
