Never thought I'd be cheering for St George but they've done us a huge favor by beating the Warriors. It's up to us to beat the Titans now to grab 4th spot.

We have to win by more than 13 but there should be plenty of incentive to do so.
 
If we don't get 4th, it's a complete disgrace. We don't even have to smash the Titans, just beat them and the Sharks, with the Warriors beating the Cowboys or the Cowboys winning by 12 less than how much we beat the Titans and the Sharks.
 
Yeah, sorry should've qualified that. We should win by 13+ but these are the games that worry me a bit. Surely the boys will be fired up with a real chance of grabbing a home final

We win both and either
-Warriors beat cowboys
-Cowboys beat Warriors and we win our last 2 by a combined total of 13 points more than they win by (if they win by 1, we need to win our last 2 by a combined total of 14)

we run 4th
 
Found it extremely hard cheering for the dragons…HUGE opportunity for the tigers to grab 4th spot. Dragons still worry me though.

yea i was glad dragons won aswell. gives us more of a chance of finishing 4th now! :slight_smile:

playing dragons week 1 of finals at anz would be awesome
 
Its hard to cheer for them before we actually win. Wish we played last night because if the "pokie curse" gets us 2mro night we will be wishing the warriors won

The pokie curse is a monday night thing. On the Monday Fox coverage, they go through the commentators selections and if they all pick the same team, they call it the pokie curse because everytime this year the panel have unamiously picked one team to win, that team has LOST.
 
Thank you also to Brisbane, who made the unpredictable Souths run to the finals much more difficult. No thanks to Cronulla, who could have helped us along.
Got the party pies and hot dogs ready to go tomorrow, along with a cold bottle of champagne for celebrations.

The last time the Tigers received "the pokie curse" that idiot Phelan goes on about they won, and it was this year I think. Wests Tigers vs. Newcastle - Round 13\. I'm not 100% sure, but I do vividly remember the Tigers getting tipped across the board on MNF and beating the Pokie Curse. It was either this game, or late last year.
