From what im seeing its the team and style of play we should have had about four years ago.

Tonight was outstanding. Looks like he has all the players onside. So much for players not playing for him…

Woo his a very good coach hopefully we re sign soon his getting the best out our players its finally our team. It was a very good clean out in the off season let the new era start.

Always liked him no frills coach who knows the game , finally we are getting away from Sheens style of touch football and playing direct and hard.

Was at the game and we absolutely smashed them , the team is finally listening and playing as a group.

After round one I thought we were playing very flat and lacked punched. Three weeks latter we playing direct, with power,punch and quick play the balls. No little fluffy blind side raids, no cross field running. Great bench rotation and Farah Brooks,Anasta and Teddy are doing a great job directing traffic.

Brinks back memories of some of those brutal wests and Balmain packs of yesterday. Plenty of ticker and passion on display tonight

I always thougt he was gonna be a great coach remember he inherited Tim sheens team. He is building our future remember sheens did not win the comp in his first 2 years. In 2 years from now tigers will be top 4 I'm sure of it an potter will go down as a smart coach because he brought all those junior players in his first year as tigers coach

This team over the last 2 weeks has shown unity like we haven't shown since 2010…Well done Potter...its a long season but the last 2 weeks have shown two things....1) Potter CAN coach 2) Potter has the respect of the players...

Interesting thing I noted tonight was how Potter handled positional changes when the injuries occured. When Richards went off, I thought the logical thing to do would've been to move Bodene from the right side to cover left centre, and push Simona out. Instead, Potter kept the right side in tact, pushed Fulton one wider into centre and brought a forward on to cover left backrow. Rather than messing up combinations everywhere, he made the change with as little disruption as possible - very wise.

Even in 2005 we had a lot of ordinary footy, it was only the last 10 wks that got us the title.
I said on here last year that this was the year to judge Potters performance. All the injuries, taking over from a 10yr coach and Benji's antics.
Shoulda put $20 on us for top8 three weeks ago….......

it's just another change that will benefit this side. Sheens would've made 4 changes per replacement.
