If Mbye apparently made the difference imagine if, ooooo I dunno, we had a specialist hooker in the lower grades who could come off the bench?

Yep I can’t imagine why Simpkin isn’t getting a run.

I think Mbye should be dropped. He doesn't offer enough to make the team. I get why Madge keeps picking him. He makes it easier to manage injuries during the game. I just think we need to get the 9 position firing and LIddle/Simpkin is a much better choice than one that includes Mbye.

If Simpkin was ready to play NRL,I think Madge would have him in for sure....Madge obviously knows more than us....

It's just that his eyes work well enough to see that when he was given an extended opportunity he wasn't up to it.
He is however preferable to Mbye, but then again so is Kerrie Ann Kennerly.

I know more than Madge about telecommunications engineering . Doesn’t make me a first grade coach though . He’s forgotten more than I’ll ever even try to know I reckon . God even guys like Jason Taylor would know collectively more than all of us combined .

I’ve seen people with very little knowledge gather a team together, and achieve great things that they otherwise would/could not achieve on their own. The type of specialist knowledge required from an nrl coach is evolving and having less to do with fundamental play.

Yep ?. It’s why the call for better assistants , is accurate I believe . But still , that’s not what I was getting at . Anybody who’s got the necessary license to be able to even apply for an nrl job , knows way more than you or I , or just about anyone else on here about the game .
