i would like to see Woods at lock , he can do the same as Merrin does for the drag queens and it gives us extra size. we have enough front rowers in , galloway,ava,lodge,and tupau.

Unfortunately Galloway, Ava, Lodge and Tapou have to show this year that they can play for more than 20 minutes a time before they have extensive breaks.

I'd probably play Taupau at lock however Woods would be great there as well. I think we have to play 3 prop forwards out there all the time. Woods and Taupau would slot in there easily and Sue as the bench lock/prop player will work.

We should have basically 6 forwards rotating in those roles. Galloway, Lodge, Sue, Taupau, Woods and Ava.

It'll be interesting who gets 3 of the other spots. I can see Halatau being useful off the bench because he can give Robbie a break as well. I think Siro and Akaoula will go well on the edges but they will probably be inconsistent.

In the opposed session vid on website it looks like Lawrence was training in centers. For those hoping he may be making the move to to the back row…
