The bunker

Supposed to be the rolls Royce of officiating, it is more like a Datsun 180B. The NRL is slowly killing itself. I reckon my kids (4 & 8) will witness the death of the game first hand

The police should be looking wider than players in their match fixing investigation. Tonight's officiating has been criminal and it only takes a couple of penalties at set points of the field on later tackles to manufacture a result

appalling…(refs) a complete joke, players questioned over match fixing the nrl should have a serious look at these clowns, they help determine the outcome of games with out a doubt.

The integrity unit should be confiscating the refs mobile phones !

And their whistles.

I love the NRL and i watch 95% of all games every year but this disgaceful performance of the referees, particularly the bunker makes me wonder if it is all worth while.Obviously the NRL would prefer the Broncos with their massive support to go through and if these referees are retained after all the awful calls they made tonight it only reeks of corruption.I have been watching rugby league for nearly sixty years and i have never seen anything so bad.The only positive point i can find is that had we have beaten the Raiders we would have been on the receiving end of these desperate calls. My blood pressure would never have stood it!

Feel the same way… I love watching the game, but it is hard to watch games like tonight and enjoy them... Don't really care for either team, but it would be disappointing to have played all year only to have your season end with the influence of poor refereeing decisions...

Reminded me of the" Sea Eagles and a certain **controversial ref** " times of the late 70's.
:unamused:

yes titans were dudded several times.id be spewing if it were the tigers.

the decisions made by the video ref and or technology leaves most people baffled.but, thats what the experts demanded.
is that a datsun 180 b or a 120 y?i quite liked the 180b.

I don't blame the bunker for this one. The penalty try is according to rules (even if you think they are dumb).

The refs on the field were atrocious. I feared my missus was going to break something valuable after the Roberts kicking incident. The ref had 13 blokes tell him about the kick, and refused to ask the bunker to check it.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: Some clubs always get the rub of the green. Whether it is an unconscious bias or not, it is blatantly consistent.
