The (controversial) forward pass

Against the chooks, when they were down 12-18…good or no good?

Most of the media (and our coach) called it good...Not sure though that it would have mde that much difference to the final score, certainly not in the second half were I though we were the better team...

Ithought it was forward but i am one eyed & it was real close, but we get plenty of bad decisions so he should get on with life, hate the roosters.

Line ball at the very worst. They did get a try off the back of a grubby act by Warea-Hargreaves on Ryan so I suppose it leveled out somewhat.

It was definately not forward and I think even most Tigers supporters would agree with that. And the fact that you say it wouldn't have made much of a difference to the final score is a joke.. It wouldv'e been 18-18 with 10 to go. hahaha :crazy

I thought it was forward at the time and watching the replay this morning I still think it was forward. The Roosters can't blame the ref for losing the game - we played better for most of the second half and were a whisker away from one or two more tries. They're second last on the ladder for many reasons - refereeing decisions is not one of them.

Even so, I think on the night we wanted it more than they did…

I called it forward at the ground but not so sure when I saw the replay. Nice to get a bit of luck from the refs for a change.

It wasn't forward but for the papers to say that Anasta had an "interrupted" passage to the tryline was also incorrect. Moltzen was at fullback and there was scramble defense coming across in cover.

They can have that back if we can have the scrum penalty we should have got in the semi last year.

Their first try was straight off the back of a penalty they should never have been given also.
& fwiw I thought it was very marginally forward.

I thought the so called controversial pass was forward

Senexx I can't agree more! I have seen it a couple of times and I am convinced it was forward and the officials on the night were "SPOT ON"!

When Anasta went through Moltzen and Utai were both back for the kick, plus Farah and Gibbs were chasing back. I thought the pass was ok but it was anything but a certain try. If Anasta wants to blow up at someone it should be the 2 props who consistently give away dumb penalties every week.

I believe that it was forward. Carney was running across field so there was no forward momentum involved and it looked to me that the ball was caught in front of Carney. But I am very biased so this might be impacting my view of the incident!!!

The pass was marginal, but I think Anasta would have been tackled anyway, our players stopped when the whistle went, any way I will take it.

yes it does not even come close to not getting a scrum penalty last year, suck sh….. roosters. :bawling :blah :blah :blah
