THE CURSE CONTINUES?

Maybe we should play on foam rubber underlay like they have in day care centers these days….lets cover the boys in bubble wrap while we're at it.

Fair dink theres some whinging & moaning going on here lately....and to think its mainly males that make up the membership here, you'd think it was a room full of females at that time of the month.

A wise and sharp retort relating to the periodic discharge of blood and mucosal tissue. And how tough and superior men like you are for not having them.

Nice.

But meanwhile… Manly are training at a world class Sports Science Academy, we are still doing the proverbial lap up and around Chilli's hill. You watch... It will be our 3rd season wrecked by injury but there will always be a couple of reg regans around here thinking its just bad luck... run it off and put it in a bucket of hot sand.

Whhoooh, extremely heavy month it seems.

Injuries....an occupational hazard in the game of rugby league, but yeh you know better, it was the ground, or because we train at Concord, or run chilis hill....

Mate have you seen the fields at the Narrabeen complex?

They are atrocious. Sand based, rutted and all kinds of hopeless

You beat me to it! The field at concord is light years ahead of Narrabeen.

The other facilities at concord may be outdated, but the surface, outstanding.

I feel sorry for Dene and wish him a speedy recovery.

I could not see a place for Dene and Liam in the top 17.

At least we have loads of forwards to choose from

Galloway
Woods
Blair
Ava
Taupau
Fulton
Buchanan
Sirro
Paterson
Sue
BMM
Gravet
Brown

Some food for thought.

There is more to getting a pitch ready than a couple of lads from Camden Council putting out some sprinklers and walking around with a bucket of sand. If It was still 1997 it would be a different story. Its 2014 now and we need to connect the dots between all these injuries and the facillites at the club.

This and your previous statements make it look like you are spoken like a gentleman who couldn't point out Camden on a map, let alone have been there.

Knowing the ground staff who look after the ground at Kirkham, I take real exception to your above statement.

The ground has been prepared a couple of months in advance, and the pitch was as good as the turf a Campbelltown sportsground. In relation to other projects that seem to dawdle in my neck of the woods, no expense was spared.

No-one else injured their ankles, or expressed any trepidation at the pitch, in fact, the opinion was wholeheartedly positive.

Halatau looked to have landed awkwardly in the tackle from where I was watching. Nothing to do with the pitch.

Taniela Tuiaki

Anyone remember this poor guy that never played again after some one feel on his leg. Same injury, different ground. Ground wasn't to blame. I just hope Dene will play again.

I was at that game and poor TNT's leg was a mess . I don't think Halatau's break is anywhere near as bad

I'm pretty sure he had a break and a dislocation?

I also remember hearing that he was lazy at rehab?

Not sure how true, though?
