The difference between Tedesco and Moltzen

Was Moltzen the player coming back from a serious injury that kept him out all last year….and did he play 60 minutes in NSW cup and then backed up for another 40 in NRL..he looked very tired.

Oh No that's right it was the other bloke Tedesco.

Don't worry Moltzen fans your boy will be named at No.1 for round 1.
New coach but Nothing really changes.

Only ever heard about Tedesco on the forums, but I've got to agree after watching both games tonight, he's a class above Moltzen. He's a lot sharper and a fantastic ball player. Will be our fullback long term.

Tedesco is the fullback for this season that is pretty clear. But Moltzen is still a good footballer; I reckon he can still make a decent half back. I have seen him play great for Balmain as a half; dont know where all this rubbish about him being a fullback has come from. To be frank, I think I prefer him at half to Miller. Let's see what eventuates.

Tedesco was a cut above in state cup last night, went well when called upon in first grade too.

Moltzen apparently had a stomach bug but none the less it's time to look ahead and not back - Tedesco at number 1 please.

I agree - he offers a bit of zip in the halves and has the speed off the mark to take the line on - at the back his speed off the mark is wasted as he has already gone 10 - 15 mtrs when he hits the defence. If he chimed in to the backline and hit holes at speed like Slater it would be a different thing but he doesn't do it. The problem is I doubt that Potter would have run both Miller and Moltz at half during pre season and we don't want to go back to the days of changing your halves every second week. So for mine its Tedesco at the back Miller at half and at best Moltzen at 14 and used like Craig Wing when defences are tiring. If not at 14 then he is out.

IMO I think it's pretty clear Moltzen should be our utility on the bench, do you guys think? Like Mortimer at Roosters.

Miller is a more natural 7 and Tedesco is a more natural 1.

I think teddy will be our fullback , everyone knows that, but he is only just 20 and coming off a major injury, I would be giving him another 4 or 5 games at state cup to get his confidence sky high ,there's no rush its a long season and it will be very hard for him to keep playing at the top of his game for 26 rounds consistently week in week out
He will get his chance this year

I would think not picking him in the nrl team would harm his confidence. He is ready now Potter must pick him.

Dont think so , i think a few more games at state cup , you want him to be totally dominating state cup first , then he can make the transistion to nrl no problem
He needs a few more weeks in state cup
He hasnt played a full 80 min game yet
Whats the rush?

The difference between Tedesco and Moltzen? One of them is a footballer. The other is a pretender (and should be a Dragon where he would fit in beautifully with other pretenders).
