The Doueihi move

Yooooooooo Kelce it was reported that Bird is on $400K and I know that Hunt is on $500K this year and $600K next year, sounds like close to a million mate. Next piece of the puzzle is Hunt being given permission to leave.
He probably does have permission to leave. But he has to have somewhere to go…

I think the values, as they tend to be on non-highly touted signings at the Tigers are probably a little over-reported.

But, without confirmation, we won't know.

I've not once heard Royce on anything close to 600k even once, so I'll take that with a grain of salt.

Frankly, this discussion was so long ago that I forget the point we were discussing, but needless to say that Bird and Royce are probably quickly becoming surplus to requirements, with maybe Royce to a slightly lesser degree.

The Douhei move has shifted my way of thinking going into 2026...

6. Luai
7. Douhei
13. Sione

14.Latu

Sione starts and does a job for 25-30 mins... Interchange with Latu, who acts as a pivot (whilst going on the prowl) pushing both Douhei and Luai a pass wider in attack, really starting to open up Samuela, KPP, May and To'a on their respective sides.. Latu holds his own in defence anywhere on the pitch, so defence is no concern... Then swap him for Sione again mid game then bring him latu back on for another spell toward the end when the game opens up again..
