Sorry guys the link works on my iPad. Lawrence was interviewed post match and was asked what went wrong all season and Lawrence said "the effort was there" all season the execution let them down…crap the effort was there in only a handful of games they mostly failed to turn up and put in.... Their effort the last two games was sub standard...

I am sick of the spin coming from this team. For once, someone needs to tell it as it is.
I.e: It has been a terrible year, we simply weren't good enough.

Just heard the interview and you can hear in his voice that even he doesn't believe what is coming out of his mouth.
I think these players at least owe it to the fans to come out and admit they performed well below what they are capable of. That despite the injuries throughout the year maybe there were some games where some of them were guilty of not putting in 100% and having enough pride or respect for the jumper they were wearing and the fans who passionately support the club.

I don't know why these guys are so keen on being interviewed - if its unavoidable surely they could say we haven't performed up to expectations and leave it at that.

The more articles that come out from the club the more I realise just how stupid they think the fans are.
They gave trained hard, no doubt. Ran lots of miles, sprints, lifted weights, ate well.
But the results of the hard work are not there. They appear to lack strength, speed and endurance, and at times, appeared spent after 15 minutes.
Blind Freddy could see that the training regime did not hit the right notes and our guys did not match it with the other teams.
I don't think the S&C coach will see out Xmas
