The last time Moltzen played in his proper position?

I still think he will be a good fullback. As soon as he is comfortable under the high ball of course.

Agree with that. This is currently our best team, probably position wise as well. Hopefully everyone clicks we get this win and then see what (if anything) we have to do come round 26\. Hurry up Sunday!

No. He is not a fullback. Teddy will be our FB next year. Thank goodness

When was he last watching from the stands?

That was my question as well.

With Anasta and Tedesco playing next year, Moltzen will be shaking hands with the reserve grade coach. If he is lucky.

 You must have been having kittens after his game against the Dragons.
All the praise being directed at him must have nearly killed you!
Think you'll find he'll still be in firsts next year - which at least will give you something to complain about.

I was so happy when I seen ryan at fullback then it all turned to shit when i seen moltzen at 5/8, how he keeps getting picked week in week out realy bugs me.

Considering we have re-signed him, i really hope he nails the 6 and stays there for his career. Its up to him though to make it his own, something he's struggled to do at halfback, fullback and centre

Agreed, best of luck and effort to him, hope he succeeds for his sake and that of the team and US!

And thats important isn't it

Forget all the lead up work to the try , its just who scores thats important

Well hes made 10 line breaks to

Hes made 49 tackle breaks as well, compare that with Lawrence whose played the same number of games (18) and made 34 tackles breaks and 7 line breaks.

And let the merry go round start again

Hands up who thinks Moltzen is playing anywhere near as well at fullback as he did the back end of 2011

I think hes playing around the same, but at the end of last year the rest of the team was playing better, in particular Lawrence which meant the whole backline looked good

As opposed to him always getting bagged for not backing players up?
Usually wingers are the top try scorers - and they score 80% of their tries just catching the last pass.
No-one begrudges them being the leading try scorers.
Moltzen plays in the centre of the field in attack - why not at least give him some kudos for getting himself in the right position to score , happy.

He doesn't get bagged out for not backing up , he gets bagged for his lack of support play around the ruck Two completely different situations CK

I'm glad he can be at times a good positional player but he has to do it at both ends of the field , not only when a try is on .

As for our wingers , how many different blokes have we used this season

In my opinion if Koroibete had been on one wing for 3/4 of the season he would probably be blitzing it as leading try scorer

Again I have to ask yourself myself the same question I bag Benji ,Rhino Ayshford even Farah at various stages of the season and don't hear a boo

Bag a bloke when he is playing arguably one of the most important positions on the field who isn't performing anywhere near as well as he can and I'm being too harsh and a Moltzen hater :roll And people say I'm a hypocrite :unamused:

100% agreed
The lead up is obviously a massive part in scoring tries but the person who is there supporting and finishing is just as important.
He has also made his own tries - all this is pretty good for someone playing out of position

Most of the blokes on the forum could of scored the 3 tries that Moltzen scored v the Dragons

The only try I can think that Moltzen set up and scored was the one he scored playing AT 6
