Like I say for someone who often asks for people to be respectful of other people's views you make a hell of a lot of posts that are very disrespectful of things that are important to people. Why not take a crack at Galahs or anyone else above? Oh that's right - pro Magpies stuff is okay with you. It's only Balmain things that attract your cynical put downs.

The other thing I want to add is I don't think a lot of ex Balmain or Wests supporters are going to realize how much losing their former clubs will hurt

I know I have mentioned it a few times in the past but seeing my Brisbane Wests die , apart from seeing family members pass was one of the worst feelings in my life and still saddens me deeply to think about it

Mate I'm not disparaging the Magpies emblem at all and I don't believe I did so. There's no problem from me and I was only replying to a comment someone else made which rung true about things being even handed.

Then we got to the situation where there are constant comments about Magpies supporters being shown respect but the when the shoe is on the foot there is derision and abuse. As you say it has to work both ways right?

I've got a lot of respect from most of the people who are old Magpies diehards and it saddens me that their dedication is being returned with the poor performances from the state cup team. I certainly don't agree with everything they say but I have a stack of respect.

You are probably right I should have saved it for another thread. It wasn't my intention to hijack the thread which I probably helped in doing. I apologise for that. Like I said I've got no beef with having the Magpie here.

No the crap started, as it so often does, with your aggressive personal replies. You have a rap for this kind of stuff. This is all about the way you approach situation where people disagree with your opinion - you show a total lack of respect for the opinions of others yet preach the opposite.
