The man child tackle

I was at the game…...but I remember Cronulla looking like they were gonna score and the Man child destroying someone.I think it was Gardner.

Was at the game, it was a fantastic tackle. How good a player is Lawrence, he has every thing required in a footballer. How great was his try just before half time. He must be the number one priority to sign to a long term contract.

Pretty good game from Lawrence, not sure he's the answer for goalkicking either, but he was one of the better Tigers tonight.

sorry, i might be a tad new here….. who is the man child?

That would be Chris Lawrence still only 21 but been playing First Grade since 2006….

Join the dots...

Great try but he cost us a couple when he switches off & just watches the play, then suddenly reacts too late. Kind of reminds me of Eric Grothe snr. { brilliant one moment asleep the next }

What the????

Grothe is a bum and Rowdy Manchild is a beast.

Very harsh comparison IMO.

I was starting to think Gardner was one of the quickest players in the comp, the way Rowdy ran around him….geez he's outpaced some quick players with his swerve. Awesome

Gardner was obviously showing him the sideline so he wasn't stepped inside & got caught on the back foot ..too late

Man Child is one of those players when it comes to speed. He gets a hell of a lot quicker as he goes on. Builds momentum and pace with the more yardage, the more ground he has to cover. Remembering that it wasn't that long ago he burned Slater at Leichhardt either, and Billy the Kid is no slouch when it comes to speed. With this 'League's World Fastest Man' competition rumoured to be taking place at the end of the season, I surely hope he's Wests Tigers representative. Man Child could be a dark horse

Doesnt he have a great body swerve??

The beauty of it is that he speeds up as he burns around them….its bootiful to watch.

Manchild saved a try with a crackerjack hit and then scores one on half time to basically set up the game for us.

Dont worry about PM......Manchild for Emperor!!

Gardner is certainly quick Ink, he's got great acceleration like Slater off the mark because he's close to the ground, but geez Lawrence is deceptive when he hits open space and is given a sniff.

Underdog, don't worry about it. I've been around a long time and the forum members here use really weird names for half the players. I am often wondering who they are. I was reading this thread to find out who the hell the man child was myself.

He was great last night.

I still don't think he gets the ball often enough. Neither does Lote.

Agree 100%. We should attack down the left hand side far more often. It is amongst if not the best centre/winger attacking combination in the NRL. It annoys me to no end that we seem to go to the other side of the field far more frequently in attack.

Most of our game plan in attack should revolve around setting up the play to get the ball to our left hand side.
