The NEW Coach if ...

Way to jump to conclusions. I was more leaning towards guys like Blair, Moltzen and Ayshford.

But not only do I like that those coaches aren't afraid to drop players, Price obviously realized the Fien/Hornby combo worked well and kept it without having to revert back to his default pairing. We're up to our 8th halves combo, and you wonder why we've lost more than we've won

perhaps we do need someone fresh to hold the reigns but lets be honest most of you would start tearing at him once he made a decision you don't like even if you suggested him here. The truth is we are at the begining of a rebuilding stage and it takes 3-4 years to become a contender no matter who is coaching.

Anyone who has been mentioned will do imo ,because all the joint needs is a fresh approach, new ideas .We have a squad who is capable on their day . W e also need a coach who will recognise the younsters and give them a go .
Im over the mentality that the place would not survive without Sheens at the helm.

A coach who would give youngsters a go -nearly every player at this club was a young player given a go by sheens including tedesco, Sironen, koriobete and groat this year , woods and Simona last year

sign Sheens for life then . and be happy not making the semis and watching your side make the same old mistakes .Rugby league will still be the winner .lol

We should have been in rebuild mode this year but instead we are in bandaid mode. After losing Lui unexpectedly so instead of releasing moltz , he stays and then sheens try's go turn benji ( worlds best 5/8 ) into a halfback. Totally disregarding a future halfback in Jacob miller.
More evidence of bandaid solutions was when sheens discovered he was a few props short of a pack and pulled cashmere out of the mines. Do we not see so far into the future. Sheens started a program about 6-7 years ago to nurture junior half/ five eighth talent in the Wests/tigers juniors. Where's the gold at the end of this rainbow.
We always hear tigers chasing backrowers. Backrowers have never and never will win you a premiership. The spine is the most important base of your team . 1,6,7, and 9.
Leave benji at 6 and Robbie at 9\. Teddy at 1 and all we need us a 7\. Although, the spine is ineffective if you don't have the big motor up front. Woods and big red are awesome , but we need more depth at prop. We have lost 6 out of 6 games that Galloway gas missed this year. Say no more.
Rebuild mode??? Misdirected mode

Daniel Anderson.

I agree.

Let's face it though, this is all speculative until the end of 2014, and even then it's more likely Royce Simmons will take over than somebody from outside the boys' club.

If it was park football and the coach was doing it for a meat pie and a beer you would understand but Sheens is being paid probably around 400 to 500 a year to prepare a football team and get results. Its just not happening and he is getting mega bucks. What are the board doing???Its just one big boys club, she will be right mate attitude.

Stand still and perish!!!!!!

We have made the semis 2 years Ina row and are still a good chance of making the finals this year despite a horrible injury toll so we aren't exactly parra or penrith it isn't that bad -I wouldn't mind a new coach with fresh ideas if the right one was available but also I think in Sironen and Marshall we have a great halves combo for next yr although I agree we need another prop

Disagree Benji is not a seven and Siro is not a six, they are not a pairing that will win you the big games. Siro is going to be a very handy back rower and the skills he picks up playing six will help him in the long run, but he not going to dominate in the NRL as a no6\. As Sheens is hell bent on Benji as no7, I would probably give some thought to playing Moltzen their in 2013 but my guess Anasta will get the gig and I cant see that helping our cause, we cant afford to have two catch pass players together,we need a few players that will actually take on the line

anasta takes the line on often and hes d is heaps better then benji…i feel they will compliment each other...i got a feeling anasta is going to be just what we needed.
