Unfortunately, anyone thinking that the NRL is going to do anything to intervene on behalf of the Wests Tigers fans is dreaming…

The Wests Tigers are going through the most significant period in their 27 year history, and we have heard next to nothing from the NRL. You look on their website and you wouldn’t know there is anything going on… You look for comments from NRL representatives to media and there is nothing but lip service…

I think the NRL’s mentality is ignore it and it will go away… “Oh well, we might lose a few supporters over this situation, but we are bigger than that, we will just make them up again with our growth strategies into WA and the USA, so don’t worry about it…”

Where are PVL and Abdo? They should be protecting the interests of their customers…

I respect PVL nearly as much as Richo. He’ll be having a good look at all this.

If the Nrl do act they will do it after a full review. I think they will act but it will take time

Why are we blaming the NRL for a problem HBG created

It’s more a comment that I am not seeing anything from the NRL to demonstrate that they are taking any action to advocate for the supporters who have been affected by HBG’s actions. HBG are rolling along without a care in the world, any chance of salvaging the situation any time soon went out the door today.

PVL is definitely a man of action similar to Richo, if it is a big enough priority then he is usually on the front foot. I am not seeing PVL getting on the front foot with this for whatever reason…

I hope the earlier comments about him working on it are correct, and maybe I am jumping the gun, I am just not seeing it yet.

I am a long term season ticket holder of the Tigers and that won’t change. I also won’t make a farce of the club by marching at Pratten Park FMD. Hopefully we have a fan base with an IQ higher than room temperature and get behind the team when the time comes.

It was a mistake however the only entity keeping us alive is Wests Ashfield. Tigers would be done and dusted well before now. The license would have been in qld already.

I have exposure to more than most. If you think NRL wants a team in the inner west you are deluded. PVL will let them implode. They want the juniors run by the big clubs Eels, Dogs, Souths, Roosters.

Go West you fools before they pull the rug real quick under new license. I have a healthy disdain for Wests Ashfield and Balmain tbh the entire inner west element of the Tigers/Magpies. They are holding the club back.

Love a drink at Leichhardt however it’s a horrid family venue and we don’t belong at Parra or Homebush. For the record I’m miles away from Cambo but I can see commercial reality in 10 years.

This is true. Maybe I am expecting more of the NRL than what is possible at the moment.
