Santo, Sam and Eds World Cup Fever has been a highlight for me. A very funny show. It would be great if they could get a weekly segment for half an hour during the week.

yeah i watched that aswell. its pretty funny

they were good last night  Ed Kavalee is really funny, i'd like to see him get something permanent, the show he wrote 'tv burp' was actually quite clever.

In alot of the World Cups there has been a team that goes much better than expected. There are a few teams this world cup. 1 of them is Ghana. In the last World Cup Australia did much better than what alot of people expected. We made the final 16 and almost beat Italy (who only beat us after a controversal call against us) and they were the team that went on to win the World Cup. The World Cup before that South Korea made the final 4\. I hope one of the teams that aren't considered one of the top teams wins the World Cup this time.

I hope the Japs beat Paraguay tonight. 11.30pm live tonight on SBS!

So who is going to be the next lucky team that Mick Jagger shows his support for now???

Germany coach makes bold pick

Well it looks like Maradona's men are GORRRRN!!!

Don't cry for me, Argentina! LOL

Maradona looks very upset. 3 nil to the Germans with 9 mins until Fulltime.

:astonished: 4 nil Fulltime!!! I thought it was gonna be alot closer than that!

Paraguay VS Spain at 4am live on SBS. Hopefully Paraguay wins but I doubt it…

Semi's
Holland vs Uruguay
Spain vs Germany

I think it will be Spain beating Holland in the final, although this German team is a force to be reckoned with as well (13 goals scored in 5 games, only conceding 2).

Germany vs Spain should be the match of the tournament. Germany certainly the form team of the competition but Spain maay have too many stars.

I was surprised how much Brazil panicked when Holland hit the lead. Brazil had plenty of time to hit back. Some of their players had a brainsnap!

Upcoming matches - Semi-finals:
Uruguay vs. Netherlands - 7 Jul 4:30am (Australia (Sydney)) on SBS, SBS ONE, SBS HD
Germany vs. Spain - 8 Jul 4:30am (Australia (Sydney)) on SBS, SBS ONE, SBS HD

Pretty lacklustre final, I expected more. Spain looked to play for the win, while Holland played to not lose. Glad Spain got the win.

You're right there. Holland were quite good in the second half but looked off the pace in extra time.

Is that the first time a country has been Euro champs and World Cup champs at the same time?
