The ONE difference..

Where Souths had their chances, they took them.
Where we had our (multiple) chances, we didn't. Had no idea, really.

Momumental performance by Api - as for the rest, including a social media aficionado and a would be soon to depart superstar, I draw a veil. They huffed and puffed but seriously...

Welcome back Tigers (of old).

Absolutely.

The difference is our last (should have been) try where lachlan knocks the ball on 😂 😂

Unrelated, If I told u in 2011, that we won't make the finals for the next 1.5 decades, what would your response be? (E.g Shut up, get out of here)

Api’s try was glaring at just how bad we were. Did not have one single player in support.
The only time runners pushed up and provided options and we gained some quick ptb speed was after Api’s second try. All of a sudden we were a different team, playing with speed and aggressive running. I was screaming at the TV - where was that effort and desire for the first 70 mins???
Our halves get caught with the ball or ran back into the ruck or sideways because there are absolutely no runners- no options to make the D have to choose. This is one of our main issues in A. It’s either an effort and desire/attitude thing or it’s a fitness thing. I tend to think it’s the former.

Fitness is my thought. The guys want to stay in the contest but they physically can’t. Need major work on this during our bye week/rest week.

Yeah, maybe fitness but look at our back rowers and centres. Not a great deal on offer there.

Sukkar was the only one who bent their line

And, it did seem Luia and Galvin were a bit slow in the delivery.

Well considering we were the favourites for 2012, I would have said words to that effect LOL....

Team stats were fairly even but I'd say most of our yardage came from our back three. The forwards were ineffectual, particularly compared to Koloamatangi who plays like a beast against us every time. I'd kill to have him at the Tigers.

Our forwards are our Achilles heel right now. No depth and now struggling after the good early start to the season. Forwards win matches and unless something is done to bolster our pack this season, not next, then we won’t be winning too many more matches.

Souths are bog average, we should’ve beaten them and beaten them well. The Tigers team that beat Cronulla would’ve beaten Souths, but that team is not the same team now.
