I vowed not to make a thread as this loss stung too much, but it is too obvious at this point.
Todd Payten is a rookie coach, yet was able to win a game with the simplest game plan: target their outside men who jam and get lost. They neither come in fast enough, nor stay back at least 4-8 times a game. There are 3-4 tries there. And Payten won.
Brown is an ordinary coach, but he put in a ball playing FB specifically for the **exact same game plan**.
And he won.
This has been going on for years. Yet no adjustments.
It just defies belief.
