I think it’s inevitable that PNG will take a piece of the Panthers. Only question being how big of a piece. Their era of dominance has a shelf life now. Which seems natural. They have dominated for so long and achieved basically all that there is to achieve, the players probably feel the time is right to cash out. Plus, with the finish line in sight and Ivan stepping down, it will give them some real motivation for 27. One last hurrah. That’s not even including the possibility they win it this year too, which they are in a strong position to do.
