THE REST OF THE SEASON

I say the Eels will lose between 4 and six points. Its funny when the Bronks were under the spotlight a year or so ago with questionable dealings by their football manager it all just seemed to disappear.

We'll yeah, but that's the Broncos. Don't upset the Broncos.

Ain't no team more beatable than the Dogs atm. Pack of imposters. I laughed at the money that came for them last week when Foran withdrew. Why? They could barely beat the Titans, but they're going to beat Parra easily minus their halfback?

Brandy made a great point after that loss. Who the hell is their half back? Is it James Graham? Get out of the way forwards and give it to the backs he said.

I was one of the fools who jumped ship and backed the dogs..I also jumped ship and backed the dragons when they dropped half the team. You should never try and use logic when backing NRL teams

No smoking gun….

With the Parra case, they had the smoking gun, with diarised entries to the crime minuted in the clubs own records.

Idiots be idiots.

Back to the broncos, the whole thoroughbred thing is blatant cheating in my mind. The whole TPA's in theory are nothing more than a sponsorship for the player. What is happenign at the moment is nothing like that. The whole system is falling apart.

28 points to make the 8 - historically speaking.

We are currently on 6.

two byes to come, puts us on 10.

need 9 out of 15 wins to make it.

Parramatta now out of the Top 8 potentially makes the cut-off 26 points - so potentially despite our rocky start, 8 out of 15 wins to make the Top 8.

It's very do-able. Same with the Roosters - they'd be cheering at the fact that Parra have lost their points too.

Season isn't over yet lads, and Tigermama.

I mean…I'm not writing us off, but honestly, we would have to string 5-6 consecutive wins at some stage to mount a real challenge for the top 8.

I think we can do it but I think we could have won a bunch of games that we lost. This team has to start executing consistently well and I think that players like Siro, Brooks and Moses need to start fulfilling their potential.

Like us to continue to improve and show pride in the jersey.

ET is a great addition. An 80 tackling lock which we need allowing for Sue to go back to bench on prop rotation.

Lovett and Aloila will only get better with NRL games under their belt.

Hopefully Brooks, Moses and Sirro can improve given their are challenges for their spots.

Prop rotation of Woods, Ava, Grant and Sue excites me and JJ Feilese in the background.

Hopefully Halatua and Farah leave us at year end and free us some money to retain talent and hopefully shop for positions of need.

I don't think we are too far off the pace.

If only Brooks and Moses had an experience half partner. two rookies has been a struggle.

IF Josh Aloiai just works on his hands, he'll be fantastic.

Remember our current Pack had problems with ball security when they first entered first grade -

Big Ava, Woods, Buchanan, Jesse sue, and Lovett had problems with their hands adjusting to first grade.

We're on 6 points. The Panthers and Sea Eagles are in the 8 with 8 points (once the Eels reaming is applied). The season's hardly a write off.

Parra are more likely to win 12 than our 9 come season end.

If they end up with more points than us, it will highlight how sub-par our current team & selections have been.

Taylor is a great pick up and will tighten up the middle with his defence. Holds the NRL tackling record with 72 tackles in one match.

Taylor at lock should allow Sue to drop back to bench to allow a prop rotation of Woods, Seumanufagai , Grant and Sue with JJ Felise and Aloiai also in the mix.

My bench with Woods back would be;

Tim Grant

Sauaso (Jessie) Sue

Joshua Aloiai (love his aggression and a good pick up from Parramatta)

Kylie Lovett/Richard Chee-Kam (Jason Taylor loves Lovett however I would go for Chee-Kam)

Starting Pack

Woods

Farah

Seumanufagai

Chris Lawrence (impressed since he moved to the forwards and should be our captain)

Curtis Sironen (on his last chance to prove he is NRL ability)

Elijah Taylor

Sorry but see no room for Dene Halatau (gone one season too many).

If Sironen does not improve I would move Joshua Aloiai to second row and bring in JJ Felise

Still awaiting for Sirro and Brooks to display their talents otherwise need to be dropped.

WT still need to move on Farah to free up money for a decent centre and an aggressive second rower.

I just want to see some consistency across the board

Our best and worst to be very similar like the top sides

Lots of ball control with high completion rates and massive improvements in our defence

Good high % of goals, kicked won't go astray.

Would love to see some off-loads and second-phase play come from all these guys. Woods has this in his arsenal and it makes him a real weapon. Forwards need to actually pass (play football) to truly ask questions of defense and be penetrating.
