Cheers Willow, how was Anasta defensively?

No dramas from what I saw. Potter said he's happy with the Tigers left edge. The right is where the problems may be, moreso with Ayshford and Utai not being the quickest of backs, if genuine speedsters get on the outside of them, trouble will ensue.

He'll be running with a full strength squad apparently Happy. Should be interesting given the Roosters gave Manly a touch up last night and we know they're physically big all over the park, which is something the Tigers have struggled with in recent years against them. Hopefully Potter has worked some magic on the Tigers defensive attitude. They certainly whacked Parramatta on a few occasions but the Roosters will provide a much tougher test.

But I have to disagree with you on Lawrence and Ayshford. Chris was ineffective and lackluster while Blake really got himself involved.

Notice that Blake was wearing 4 and Chris 3? I wonder what that is about

Lawrence was quiet mate, no doubt about it. Having said that, he also didn't do anything wrong and saved Koroibete when he was beaten and came up with a try saver on the far side of the field.

Overall I liked Ayshford, he certainly had more involvement than Lawrence, and I think the Eels decided to go that way rather than take on the likes of Rowdy and Koroibete who both have more than enough pace to cause some problems. Ayshford's biggest issue will be when he comes up against quick centres who have the footwork to get on the outside of him. At the end of the day he just can't match them for pace.
