The Spineless

The spine is truly terrible. They all look like they are going through the motions.

Laurie has been putrid this year.

Hastings would be better as a trainer, and even the club don’t know who should be playing hooker

5/8 Brooks moves to hooker, bench player Doueihi comes on at 5/8. Then 5/8 come hooker Brooks moves to halfback, with Halfback Hastings moving to lock.

So throughout the game we had 2 different hookers, 2 different 5/8's, and 2 different halfbacks. This with no injuries forcing these changes. Brooks played 3 positions.

Could be the worse coaching I have ever seen. Never in my life have a seen a coach do this

The clubs recruitment is still diabolical - imo this was and always has been the biggest issue.

I read an interesting article about the Storms/Bellamy’s process when signing players and they are meticulous. Looking not only at a players ability but also heavily factoring in the temperament, personality and attitude of a player.

The club always seem to sign players who fail in one of these areas or another. The majority of them just don’t seem to be committed to the club at all.

Seen enough of Laurie to conclude he will never be an NRL no1...so many problems in positional play, defence, involvement, effectiveness under the high ball......and lacks genuine speed to exploit an opportunity
Brooks is well chronicled, but offersabsolutely nothng with the ball
Hastings makes a number of half breaks but lacks the speed to go thru them, and more concerningly the players in support.Worth perevering with
Douhi too early to judge coming back from injury..but was our best player last season so deserves more time
Thought Joffa had a real crack today n a game that we were never going to win in the circumstances

We have many problems sure the spine but the lack of go forward by our pack sits top of the list followed by our kicking game not once were warriors under pressure on our kicks
