The Teams we cannot beat :(

Well as the season enters the business end of the competition and the big teams are starting to shuffle for position i see alot of familiar signs that the wests tigers are really out of there league.

Running home we will not beat the Rabbits,Panthers or Eels. Wont happen except it.
We CAN beat Sharks, Storm and maybe Titans.

Then in the finals we CANNOT win against the..
Roosters = they are really firing, they will be a really strong team and if they dont win this year they will definently snag one in the next couple.

Broncos = except for maybe the dragons game i cannot see them losing again this year. (i hate them)

Eels = they simply have it over us, Marshall is no match for Hayne, not even close.

Panthers = we just cant beat them

Rabbits = they will just run over us, they won't put fifty on us but i see a minimum of 18.

Dragons = Usually at this time of the year i would say we are a chance but all the dragons need do is complete and beat us on converted goals.

Eagles = They are too good and they proved it on sunday, now they have the confidence to roll us again.

Now i know i'm sounding very negative and i hate being negative cos i love my tigers to death, but this is how i see us finishing and i hope they prove me wrong but its not looking promising.

8th on the Ladder, knocked out first round of the semis.

Atleast we make the finals(even though its thanks to the Storm) but i see some very big positives for next year…
This team with Moltzen, Tuiaki and some more game time together with its new props and fullback can really make a run of it next year and on into the future. :righton: But sadly i think 2010 is not our year.

Just my opinion...

:sign: let the sledging begin.

Eels and Penrith we won't beat, the rest are winnable. Then again, Penrith are in a slump and can only score off kicks, thing is, we don't seem to be very good at difusing bombs and god help us if Fitzhenry is in the backline for this match.

I would love nothing more than to beat Parramatta but that one man band is on a roll again and will be hard to stop. That game will no doubt be a sell out.

Souffs have a huge injury toll, we should get them if we are serious. Melbourne tough, but it's at Leichhardt. Titans away is always a hard game but we've beaten them already and should be able to do it again.

I have a plan to beat the Eels. Fitzy to start on the wing - send him out to smash Hayne, he gets sent off - so what, we play with 12, they lose Hayne and can't mentally regroup. Fitzy could win us the grand final and he'd be a hero.

Parra are staring to hit form all over the park…that first set of 6 on friday night was one of the best I've ever seen - especially for the beginning of the game.

id say atm Eels are the only ones who have the wood on us.
We cannot contain offloads, its that simple.

We have good contests with most of us, i wouldve said the roosters, but i think there beatable as well as good as they are going!

if we dominate the forwards, farah n marshall will be able to win any game for us. i think we can win at least 3 of the final 6\. sharks, rabbits, storm and maybe even the titans. penrith and parra are going to be tough but i think penrith at our home ground will give us an edge.

Why does everyone think beating the Storm will be a lay down mazere?
Their side has 6 more games together for ever.
6 more games to create memories and play for each other.
6 more chances to stick their finger up at the NRL.
6 more chances to push for Australian test spots.
6 more chances to make a difference this year.
6 more chances to throw the ball around and show off.

They will not be easy…at all.

Storm by 25 hopefully might of put a few boys on holidays for the year. Although unlikely given they are likely to be ripped apart. I am not confident about any of the final. Especially Souths and Parra away, i think they could both give us a hiding like manly did. Penrith we have a terrible record against, although on form it is a coin flip. Titans up there in Round 26, i really really would not want to be relying on that to make the finals.

I'd like to see us get over Cronulla first and I'm not confident of that.

We seem to be ok against weak, understrength or out of form teams, but up against any decent side in a bit of form we're found wanting.

Not a good look at this time of year.

I'd stop tinkering with the side, punt Fitzy and (God bless him) Skando (If you're going to put on old head on to steady the ship but don't bother doing it when Manly are carving us up, don't bother period) go with a monster bench and forget all this nonsense of carrying a back on the bench just in case. Fulton can be moved around to compensate that.

We need to put 100 on the Sharks this week.

Injuries & form will dictate the finals race.

Eels, Broncos, Roosters are hitting form.

Panthers have the wobbles.

Saints haven't look quite as dominant for a couple of weeks.

Souths just lost Dave Taylor.

Melbourne are hot & cold.

Too hard to tell. Just play good & hope to get the points.

Are you serious? Is this a good way to protect your emotions??

Brother, C'mon!!! Say it loud… WE WILL WIN THE PREMIERSHIP IN 2010\. THE YEAR OF THE TIGER!!!

Sadly this post has some merit. Iam not sold on all your predictions, but I think your pretty close to where we are at and where we are going in 2010.

Really it all gets down to cattle and our cattle are not quite as good as some of the heavy weights in the comp. If we finish 8th or 4th I dont think our fate will be much different,a quick exit from the big games. For what it is worth my predictions are

Sharks–scrappy win
Rabbits--50/50 maybe a win
Penrith-loss cant beat them for love or money
eels--loss--struggle to beat them when they are on a roll
storm--win
Titans-depends where their season is, but probably a 50/50 game again

So a finals berth is probably on the cards and probably a top 6 finsih, but thats about all. maybe if we re think our selection policy we may do a little better, but really do we have enough quality cattle to challenge the big guns--my answers is NO

Bloody hell some people are ready to slash their wrists. We are still 4th (i don't know how but we are)

Sharks-This game worries me but we should put them to the sword if we are serious 28pts
rabbits-Revenge will be on our minds & they rarely beat us twice in one season & are walking wounded 30pts
panthers-Have the wood on us but they are slipping in form & in front of a massive campletown crowd we should win 32pts
eels-i will put this down as loss. The jesus plane might be to hard to stop 32pts
storm-storm will be thinking of their Bali trip by round 25 & we have a good record against them 34pts
titans-We go one for one with the tits so we will probably lose 34pts

Its not all doom & gloom yet. 34pts will be enough for a top 4 spot & remember we are still 100% in a finals series :stuck_out_tongue: :sign:
