The Teams we cannot beat :(

We beat ourselves more than anyone else

Another meaningless cliche which probably translates as " we didn't play as well as we can and that's why the other team that played better than we expected to beat us"

The 1969 Grand Final was a good example of how the team that was (almost) unbeatable got beaten by the Tigers when (almost) everyone thought that the Tigers couldn't beat Souths.
IMO the 2010 WTs can play worse than they have been playing this season but they are capable of playing much better and if they realize their full potential they can beat any of the other teams in the 2010 season.
IMO the Wests Tigers can win the comp.
Fans that cheer them on can help them do that. Fans that bag them or individual players can only hinder

No–-- for someone with such vast rugby league experience that you have, youre really pretty slow...head in too many scrums I presume.
Dropped balls, passes into row 5, poor kicking and poor chasing and mistackles have cost us plenty of games we shouldve won in the recent past....I guess '''the better team lost'' is another meaningless cliche thats been used since 1908.
It means the same thing

Perhaps I am slow. Yes I played hooker in the days that meant we wore 12 not 9 on our back.
Anyway I think we are ad idem on this thread's proposition.
When the 2010 Wests Tigers have lost this season the main reason is that we have made mistakes against a team that played better than we expected.
But I still maintain that the negative comments on this Forum towards the coach, team and individual players undermines the Wests Tigers overrall campaign to win the 2010 season.

They are so-called professionals and if they are listening to what the punters say, then that is not very professional.
People of all walks of life in the public eye attract criticism as well as praise, even footballers way before the internet age.
A famous coach - I think Gibson or Ryan said, ''if i listen to the fans then its time to give it away''
This message board has nothing to do with the teams fortunes.

After that loss to Manly, I think you'll find the boys will lift again. They haven't seen that many points put on them since the Dragons game. I expect a tighter defence this week and a little bit of luck coming our way (passes sticking, bounce of the ball etc) coupled with the fact we are nearly at full strength we will get the bikkies over cronulla. Everyone seems awfully nervous about the Eels match. I personally think that we will win that one. Hayne is no guarantee to fire and we've been relatively consistent in defense all year. It's highly unlikely he will be able to maintain his form like he did last year.

we will beat souths easily. Burgess will get time for the grapple and with there injuries its time to put 50 on them

This will show if the the review commitee are fair dinkum…..he should get 3 weeks, 1 for the grapple and 2 for being a pom....In all fairness he has to go Barba will be lucky if his head is still on straight....make an example of him, souths scum

Haha I read the 3 week bit and thought that would be a bit harsh…but then I read the next bit

A week would be about right I reckon. Barba has said that he will help Burgess at the judiciary if he wants him to but hopefully that won't make much difference anyway.

Gutted…

I would rather play well and lose well than that rubbish against souths tonight.

Not looking forward to next week vs Pathers, maybe i am an octopus? look out Tri...
